RICHMOND, Ky. — Madison County Beef Day returns Tuesday, May 12, with a free drive-thru lunch for the community and a nod to the region’s agricultural heritage.
The 7th Annual Madison County Beef Day will run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Richmond Ag Credit office, located at 1000 Ival James Blvd. in Richmond.
🥩 A Community Lunch with Agricultural Roots
The event coincides with National Beef Month and highlights the county’s significant role in the cattle industry. Madison County has long ranked among Kentucky’s leading cattle counties, including being listed second in total cattle and calves in previous state agriculture data.
The setup is designed for efficiency: drivers can pull through the Ag Credit parking lot to receive a free hamburger lunch without leaving their vehicles. While the event is free for the community, meals are typically distributed only while supplies last.

Because the event takes place during the midday window, it is positioned as a lunch-hour stop for local workers and residents. Visitors should expect increased traffic around Ival James Boulevard and the Ag Credit office during the two-hour event.
