BEREA, Ky. — Looking for a Valentine’s plan that isn’t dinner-and-a-movie? Fire & Fern Glass Studio is leaning into the season with a slate of hands-on experiences designed for couples, friends, and anyone who’d rather make something memorable than buy it.
The studio’s February schedule features two offerings available throughout the month—plus a special event on Friday, Feb. 13—all built around the same idea: gathering around the furnace, learning a new skill, and leaving with a handmade piece you can actually keep.
Fire & Fern says it added Make Your Own: A Glassblowing Social after a previous popular glassblowing night sold out, creating more room for guests who want a relaxed, community-style evening in the hot shop.

💡 Make It a Full Valentine’s Weekend in Berea
If you’re planning a Friday-night date in town, Feb. 13 lines up with another big Valentine’s-weekend draw: “The Tomb,” a murder mystery dinner show at The Spotlight Playhouse (Feb. 13–15).
Glassblowing at Fire & Fern plus dinner-theater at Spotlight is the kind of “Berea night out” that feels both local and memorable—creative, cozy, and just different enough to become a tradition.
