For BereaOnline readers looking ahead to fall events, I want to make sure this one is on the calendar. The Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen will bring its 58th Annual Fall Art Market to Berea on Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026.
The outdoor market will be held on the lawn of the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, 200 Artisan Way, right off I-75 at exit 77.
The market will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is free, and parking is free. If the parking area at the Kentucky Artisan Center fills, a free overflow shuttle will run from the Seabury Center parking area at Berea College, behind the Farm Store.
The two-day market will showcase Kentucky fine craft and folk art. Visitors can also expect live music, artist demonstrations, and local food trucks throughout the weekend.
This year’s market will also include some additions.
A new “Lifetime Member” section will give long-time members of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen a way to exhibit their work without having to use a typical booth setup. The Emerging Artist and Author/Illustrator sections are also being expanded this year.
Those additions allow the market to include established Guild members along with artists and creators represented through the expanded sections, while keeping the event focused on Kentucky fine craft and folk art.
For people planning a Saturday or Sunday outing in Berea, the location is also easy to find. The Kentucky Artisan Center sits just off exit 77, and the combination of free admission, free parking, and the free overflow shuttle gives visitors several options for getting to the event.
The Fall Art Market is hosted by the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen.
Operating support comes from the Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, through state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
