Crimes, domestic violence calls down in September according to Berea police stats

For the second month in the row, the number of reported crimes and incidents of domestic violence were down in Berea, according to Berea Police Department public service statistics for September 2019. The number of citations issued was also down from the previous month. Numbers for September were as follows:

Total crimes: 28 – down from 31.

Total collisions: 35 – same as previous month.

Total citations: 146 – down from 165.

Total courtesy calls: 7 – up from 4 in August.

Total call response: 36 – down from 37.

Total JCS (domestic violence): 6 – down from 12.

Total crisis calls (mental health emergency): 1 – compared to 0 for the previous month.
