Assault Arrest: On 09/30/2019 an officer observed one subject chasing another at Redi Mart on Glades Road.
One subject got in a vehicle and the second subject broke the driver side window and then began punching the subject in the car.
Officers arrested 36 year Thomas Lesson of Berea KY and charged him with Assault 4th Degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree.
Drug Arrest: On 09/29/2019 an officer conducted a traffic stop on Boone Street for a turn signal violation. He began speaking with a passenger in the vehicle who provided a fraudulent name.
The canine officer was called to the scene and K-9 Leo gave a positive alert on the vehicle. The passenger who gave a false name stated that she had syringes in her purse, and several other items were located including a burnt spoon, rolling papers, and a white residue. The subject also had several outstanding arrest warrants.
Officers arrested 43 year old Claudetta Isaacs of Berea KY and charged her with Giving an Officer False Identifying Information, Drug Paraphernalia Possession, and Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree.
Public Intoxication: On 09/29/2019 officers were called to the area of Forest and Prospect in reference to a subject who was passed out in a vehicle.
The subject was located passed out in the driver’s seat of the car and showed several signs of impairment. The subject fled on foot as officers were speaking with him, but he was apprehended after a short foot chase. A plastic bag with a white powder substance was located in his pants pocket, as well as a pill bottle containing Xanax tablets.
Officers arrested 42 year old Marvin Knuckles of Berea KY and charged him with the following:
Public Intoxication Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree Resisting Arrest Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree
Criminal Trespass: On 09/29/2019 officers were called to Walmart in reference to a subject that had previously been banned from the property two different times.
Officers arrested 34 year old Jonathan Daughdrill of Berea KY and charged him with Criminal Trespassing 1st Degree.
Shoplifting Arrest: On 09/29/2019 officers were called to Walmart after a subject was observed switching price tags. She also showed several signs of impairment, and later admitted to being under the influence.
Officers arrested 30 year old Jordan Slusher of Berea KY and charged her with Theft By Unlawful Taking Shoplifting and Public Intoxication.
Drug Arrest: On 09/27/2019 officers were called to a disturbance at a home on Walnut Street.
The subjects involved left in a vehicle while officers were on their way. An officer with the Street Crimes Unit spotted the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on Slate Lick Road. The officer began speaking with the driver and eventually located suspected methamphetamine on his person. He was also in possession of digital scales, and two drug pipes were found in the vehicle.
Officers arrested 49 year old James Williams of Mount Vernon KY and charged him with Trafficking In a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine) and Drug Paraphernalia Possession.
Drug Arrest: On 09/26/2019 officers were called to Walmart in reference to someone on their property who had previously been banned.
The subject left in a vehicle as an officer with the Street Crimes Unit was arriving, and a traffic stop was conducted on Paint Lick Road. After speaking with the subject, a plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine was eventually located on his person.
Officers arrested 30 year old Patrick Embry of Berea KY and charged him with Criminal Trespassing 3rd Degree and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine).
Drug Arrest: On 09/24/2019 a traffic stop was conducted by the Street Crimes Unit near exit 76 for a red light violation.
A deputy with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office arrived with a K-9, which gave a positive alert on the car. Several syringes were located near one of the female passengers, one of which was loaded with suspected heroin. The subject had also provided a name that turned out to be false.
Officers arrested 35 year old Miranda Graham of Paint Lick KY and charged her with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Heroin), Drug Paraphernalia Possession, and Giving and Officer False Identifying Information. She also had an outstanding arrest warrant.
