Madison Co. Sheriff’s Report 9/1/2019

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit has partnered with the National Association Chiefs of Police K9 Assistance Program for the K9 Matching Gift Project.

The National Association of Chiefs of Police will match every dollar raised for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit between September 1st through September 30th, 2019 – up to $5,000.00!!!

The benefits of Police K9’s to our community are many:
Reduce the threat of serious injury or even the death of an officer,
Assist in the arrest or prevent the escape of serious or violent offenders and track suspects,
Locate lost or missing persons, and hidden suspects and,
Find drugs, helping our police officers stop the supply of illegal drugs before they reach out children.

All funds raised through the NACOP K9 Matching Gift Project, September 1st-30th will go directly to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit; to aid in the cost of continued K9 Training, Veterinary Expenses, K9 Supplies & Equipment and other related expenses!

If you have any questions about this fundraiser or would like to meet with one of our K9 Handlers about a donation to this fundraiser – please contact us here, via e-mail or call the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
