The Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to Tates Creek Rd (KY 169) on Friday, August 9, 2019 around 2:52 p.m. for an injury collision.
The initial investigation indicated Sheena F. Conley, age 34, of Berea, KY, was operating a 2015 Dodge Dart south bound on Tates Creek Rd. Conley lost control of her vehicle, crossed the center line causing a head on collision with a 2003 Chevrolet pick-up operated by Jeffery D. Hendrix, age 57 of Richmond KY, which was traveling north.
Conley, and Hendrix were treated at the scene by Madison County EMS, then transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Sheena Conley was pronounced deceased by the Fayette County Coroner. Hendrix remained at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in critical condition.
The Madison County Sheriff Office was assisted at the scene by the Madison County Fire Department, and the White Hall Fire Department. The investigation is continuing by Deputy Martin Wesley in coordination with the Kentucky State Police Collision Reconstruction Team.
