Duane Edward Bratcher, 53, of Berea, died suddenly Sunday, July 7, 2019 at his home. Born September 9, 1965 in Berea, son to Ronnie and the late Freda Robinson Bratcher.
He was a construction worker and accomplished landscaper and member of the Baptist faith. Duane was an authority on all sports, a huge fan and member of the KISS Nation and major memorabilia collector. He was known by everyone in the community for his bright yellow Hummer and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Duane is survived by his father Ronnie Bratcher; special aunt and uncle, Shirley Hammonds (Ron Mason); Aunts Wanda Mosier, Donna Himes (Cecil); cousins Marla, Michelle and Chad Hammonds, Rodney, Anthony, Steven and Jason Himes, Rebecca Wilmont, Virginia Abbott, Bobby and Tom Mosier, Kendall Robinson, as well as numerous relatives, friends and extended family.
In addition to his mother, Duane is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, C.M. & Katherine Bratcher; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Lillie Mae Robinson
Visitation is Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Reppert Funeral Home. Funeral Service is 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 11, 2019 at White Lick Baptist Church with acceptance of friends from 11:00 AM until time of service. Lonnie Reppert officiating. Burial in Cartersville Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Chad Hammonds, Brandon Long, Mike Hammonds, Anthony Himes, Bobby Mosier and Tom Mosier.
