Joann Eversole, age 75 of Gabbard Road, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Joann was born in Jackson County, Kentucky to the late Dexter and Chloe Clark Forman.
She was a homemaker, a foster mother, and a member of the holiness faith. She attended Big Hill Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Faye Carpenter and Euel Akemon.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Eversole; two children, David (Jennifer) Eversole and Kim (Wayne) Oliver; eight grandchildren, Angela Snowden, Austin Oliver (step grandchild), Tabitha, Joshua, Alex, Emmalee, Dusty, and Jason Eversole; four great grandchildren, Breelyn, Brayden, Braxtyn, and Brantley; and seven siblings, Charles Forman, Russell Forman, Dorothy Rogers, Jean Crawford, Judy Tillery, Sue Cunigan, and Peggy Cornett.
Funeral services will be 1pm, Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Isaacs and Bro. David Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Cartersville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-9 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Hatton, Matthew Damrell, Josh Eversole, Steve Northern, Dwight Northern, Larry Eversole, Rick Wilmont and Austin Oliver.
