KSP Arrests Former Clark County High School Employee Following Theft Investigation


The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post arrested a formed George Rogers Clark High School secretary on Friday, May 3, 2019 as a result of an investigation that began on January 28th.

The initial investigation alleges that Dixie Rigney, 61 years old of Winchester unlawfully took more than $219,000 from the high school over the course of ten years. It is believed that Rigney would forge fake receipts and give them to club leaders in an effort to conceal her actions. As a result of the ongoing investigation, an Indictment Warrant was served on Rigney Friday afternoon. She was lodged in the Clark County Detention Center charged with nine counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking over $10,000, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Forgery 2nd Degree.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 7 Detective Austin Brashear.
