Berea Police Reports 5/8/2019

ARRESTED

Assault Arrest: On 05/06/2019 officers were called to Speedway in reference to a female causing a disturbance. She was located across the street at the Shell station, where she became irritated and argumentative. As the officer attempted to speak with her she kicked him and then kicked him a second time as he placed her under arrest.

Officers arrested 55 year old Rhoda Larson-Lowing of Buckley MI and charged her with Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree, Assault 3rd Degree (Police Officer), and Resisting Arrest.


Disorderly Conduct: On 05/06/2019 officers were called to the Berea College Seabury Center in reference to a female causing a disturbance. Berea College Public Safety removed her from the graduation ceremony because of her actions, and she became more irate when speaking to officers.

Officers arrested 44 year old Sara Whyatt of Louisville KY and charged her with Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree.

ARRESTED

Theft of Identity: On 05/05/2019 officers came into contact with 40 year old Dana Moore. He gave the officers his brother’s information and he was placed under arrest based on the fact that his brother had an outstanding arrest warrant.

When it was discovered that Moore had given the wrong identity, he was charged with Theft of Identity of Another and Giving an Officer False Identifying Information. He also had an outstanding arrest warrant.

ARRESTED

Assault Arrest: On 05/04/2019 officers were called to a residence on Edgar Drive in reference to a disturbance. A subject in the residence was yelling and threatening other people in the home. As officers attempted to take her into custody she slapped and kicked them.

Officers arrested 27 year old Rachel Crouch of Berea KY and charged her with Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree, Assault 3rd Degree (Police Officer), Resisting Arrest, and Menacing.

ARRESTED

Drug Arrest/Assault: On 05/03/2019 officers made contact with a subject sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of Dollar General on Richmond Road. They began speaking with him and as they were talking K-9 Parko gave a positive indication on the car. As the subject was being detained he began to resist and kicked one of the officers. Suspected methamphetamine was located in the ash tray of the vehicle.

Officers arrested 40 year old Robert Archibald of Irvine KY and charged him with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Resisting Arrest, and Assault 3rd Degree (Police Officer).

ARRESTED

DUI Arrest: On 04/30/2019 officers were called to Highway 1016 in reference to a vehicle that struck a fence. The driver of the vehicle had a strong odor of alcohol and showed several other signs of intoxication.

Officers arrested 54 year old Jerry Locker of Berea KY and charged him with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 4th offense.
