Over the course of the year, the Madison Southern Greenhouse class has been managing the greenhouse located next to Shannon Johnson. The class, which is taught by the new Ag teacher, Janna Cline, mostly focuses on ways to produce and how to properly take care of plants. In a years time, the class has managed to produce many a variety of plants. Some of the plants they will have for sale are boston ferns, wave petunias, bedding flowers, pineapples, tomatoes and peppers.

They have been learning everything from propagating, hydroponics, managing a business, all the way to seeding vegetables and herbs. The greenhouse will be open from April 20th to May 17th, 1pm to 6pm on the weekdays. On the weekends, the greenhouse will be open from 9am to 2pm. So swing by the greenhouse located next to Shannon Johnson Elementary and take a look at all the hard work this class has done.
