Berea Police Report Apr. 10, 2019

ARRESTED

Criminal Mischief Arrest: On 04/02/2019 officers were called to PGW in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival officers were advised that am employee got upset and damaged several items in the business, causing approximately $1,000.00 in damage. He was located walking on Menelaus Road and taken into custody without incident.

Officers arrested 18 year old Tavion Robertson of Berea KY and charged him with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree.

ARRESTED

Drug Arrest: On 04/03/2019 an officer observed a subject walking on Prospect Street who had an active arrest warrant. The subject was placed under arrest and syringes, suspected Heroin, and Suboxone were located in his pockets.

Officers charged 30 year old Brian McIntosh of Berea KY with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Heroin), Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, and Drug Paraphernalia Possession.

ARRESTED

Giving an Officer a False Name: On 04/04/2019 an officer conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 75 southbound for a moving violation. The driver of the vehicle did not have an operator’s license but gave the officer his name and birthdate. It was eventually discovered that the subject had given a false birthdate and had an active arrest warrant.

Officers arrested 22 year old Brendan Chapman of Richmond KY and charged him with Giving an Officer False Identifying Information, as well as some traffic offenses.

ARRESTED

Alcohol Intoxication: On 04/05/2019 officers were called to Redi Mart on Glades Road in reference to an intoxicated subject. The subject was located walking in the road and had a strong odor of alcohol.

Officers arrested 54 year old Jeremy Locker of Berea KY and charged him with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.

ARRESTED

Burglary Arrest: On 04/06/2019 officers were called to Water Street in reference to a burglary. The victims reported that they caught someone inside of their RV that was being used as their residence. The subject ran to an apartment complex across the street, where he was located by officers. The subject admitted that he was inside of the RV and was placed under arrest.

Officers charged 23 year old Canon Ruble of Berea KY with Burglary 2nd Degree.

ARRESTED

Drug Arrest: On 04/06/2019 officers were called to Hong Kong Buffet in reference to subject who left the restaurant without paying. One of the subjects had gone inside of the flea market next door, and officers made contact with him inside. The subject gave a name that turned out to be false and was in possession of suspected Heroin and a loaded handgun.

Officers arrested 31 year old Lucas King of Berea KY and charged him with the following:

-Giving an Officer False Identifying Information
-Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Heroin)
-Resisting Arrest
-Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon

ARRESTED

Public Intoxication: On 04/07/2019 officers were called to the Econo Lodge in reference to a subject who was under the influence. The subject was located and showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. As he was being booked into the Madison County Detention Center, blue pills and a powder substance were located on his person.

Officers charged 36 year old Justin Morris of Lexington KY with Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, and Promoting Contraband 1st Degree.
