Berea Police Report Feb. 25, 2019


Assault Arrest: On 02/22/2019 officers were called to Circle K on Richmond Road in reference to a subject who had been cut with a knife. The assault was the result of an altercation that occurred in the Circle K parking lot. Officers were able to identify the offender and he was located at his home in Berea.

Officers arrested 20 year old Caleb Hendrickson of Berea KY and charged him with Assault 1st Degree. The victim was transported to the hospital by Madison County EMS. This incident is still under investigation.


Drug Arrest: On 02/21/2019 officers were called to Peggy Flats Road in reference to a subject walking in the roadway. The subject was located and eventually placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant. A small plastic bag containing suspected Methamphetamine was located inside of her purse along with a cut straw.

Officers charged 40 year old Elizabeth Comley of Waco KY with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree and Drug Paraphernalia Possession.


Assault Arrest: On 02/19/2019 officers were called to Lee’s Famous Recipe in reference to a suspicious person inside of the restaurant. The subject was uncooperative with officers and made a threat towards them. He eventually grabbed one of them, and he was placed under arrest.

Officers charged 31 year old Adam Johnson of Brodhead KY with Alcohol Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, and Assault 3rd Degree (Police Officer).


Criminal Mischief Arrest: On 02/24/2019 officers were called to a residence on Phillips Street in reference to a disturbance. When they arrived, they discovered that the front door to the home had been kicked in and a subject was inside the home who had previously been told to leave. They had been called to the home earlier the same night for the same subject causing trouble.

Officers arrested 27 year old Rachel Crouch of Irvine KY and charged her with Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree and Disorderly Conduct.
