Berea Police Report Feb. 19, 2019


Disorderly Conduct/Drug Arrest: On 02/14/2019 officers were called to Elm Street in reference to arguing and causing a disturbance. The subjects were located walking on the roadway, and they were still yelling and screaming.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Clarissa Richmond of Berea KY and 34-year-old Samuel Lancaster of Berea KY.

They were both charged with Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree. Lancaster was in possession of a syringe and a small amount of suspected Methamphetamine. He was also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree and Drug Paraphernalia Possession.


Knowingly Exploiting an Adult: On 02/13/2019 Investigators arrested 28-year-old Christopher Adams of Berea KY after an investigation revealed that he took over $20,000 from his grandmother. Adams took the money without permission from his grandmother who suffers from dementia.

He was charged with Knowingly Exploiting an Adult > $300 and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card $10,000 or more.


Shoplifting/Resisting Arrest: On 02/14/2019 officers were called to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. Store employees attempted to stop her in the parking lot as they arrived, but she ran and was apprehended by officers after a short chase. She failed to comply with the officer’s commands and resisted as she was being placed under arrest.

Officers charged 34-year-old Ella Boyd of London KY with Theft By Unlawful Taking Shoplifting, Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree, and Resisting Arrest.
