Spotlight Players Present An Old Time Christmas Radio Show

The Spotlight Players present An Old Time Christmas Radio Show at the Spotlight Playhouse in Berea December 14-15. The show will be performed live in the theater and later broadcast locally on BereaOnline.com, offering the audience a unique opportunity to relive the golden age of radio.

Tickets are $6 for students, $8 for seniors and $10 for adults, with ticket proceeds benefiting the school’s scholarships and mission to turn no child away due to financial need. Discounted group tickets are available for this show by calling the box office.

“Join us for an evening of fun-filled laughter and memorable, heartwarming moments,” said Chad Hembree, Executive Director of Spotlight Performing Arts, Inc. “This show offers a hilarious and well-deserved respite during this busy season.”

The show is an original play written by Hembree and set in the 1940s, with no detail overlooked. The costumes, set, dialogue and lighting exemplify this important era in American and world history. Even the sound effects are created in the theater, on set, so the audience can see it just as it was done during an actual radio show. This show is certain to ignite the spark of the holiday season!

The performance schedule is as follows:
Fri Dec 14 at 7pm
Sat Dec 15 at 7pm

The theater is located at 214 Richmond Road and opens for seating 30 minutes before performances. Tickets are available by phone at (859) 756-0011, at the door or online at www.thespotlightplayhouse.com. Concessions are available on-site.
