Berea Police Report Dec. 28, 2018

ARRESTED

Drug Arrests: On 12/22/2018 a traffic stop was conducted on Prince Royal Drive for an equipment violation.

The front passenger of the vehicle, 26 year old Whitney Greer of London KY, had an active arrest warrant and was placed under arrest. One white pill was located in her pants pocket and a small plastic bag containing suspected Methamphetamine and a pipe were located in the vehicle where she had been sitting. Greer was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug, and Drug Paraphernalia Possession. A scale with residue was also located in the vehicle, along with a suboxone strip and a tablet under the driver seat.

Officers also arrested the driver, 44 year old Alice Mullins of London KY. She was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, and Drug Paraphernalia Possession.

A small amount of suspected Methamphetamine and a small amount of Marijuana were located on Greer as she was being booked into the Madison County Detention Center. She was also charged with Promoting Contraband 1st Degree.

ARRESTED

Drug Arrests: On 12/22/2018 a traffic stop was conducted on Chestnut Street for an expired registration plate.

The driver, 37 year old Lisa Gilliam of Berea KY, had a suspended license and was asked to step out of the car. The officer observed her reach into her pants pocket and attempted to conceal a small plastic bag containing suspected Methamphetamine. She was placed under arrest.

The front passenger of the vehicle, 47 year old Randall Lakes of Mount Vernon KY, had an active arrest warrant and was placed under arrest. A glass pipe and a clear plastic bag with 6.82 grams of suspected Methamphetamine were located on his person. Gilliam was charged with Operating on a Suspended License, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Lakes was charged with Drug Paraphernalia Possession and Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Degree.

ARRESTED

DUI Arrest: On 12/24/2018 an officer observed a vehicle on Glades Road with no headlights or tail lights. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver had a strong odor of alcohol. He showed several other signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest.

Officers charged 38 year old Clinton Hill of Berea KY with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st Offense.

ARRESTED

Shoplifting Arrest: On 12/23/2018 Walmart employees observed a subject take shoes from the shelf and put them on before attempting to leave the store.

Officers arrested 31 year old Adam Anglin of Berea KY and charged him with Theft By Unlawful Taking Shoplifting.

ARRESTED

Shoplifting Arrest: On 12/23/2018 Walmart employees observed a subject conceal several items in a purse before attempting to leave the store.

Officers arrested 20 year old Jenna Robinson of Catlettsburg OH and charged her with Theft By Unlawful Taking Shoplifting.

ARRESTED

Criminal Trespassing: On 12/20/2018 officers were called to McDonald’s on Brenwood Drive in reference to a subject inside of the business who had previously been banned from the property.

Officers located 44 year old Bobby Hasty of Berea KY and placed her under arrest. She was charged with Criminal Trespassing 3rd Degree.

ARRESTED

Shoplifting Arrest: On 12/20/2018 Walmart employees observed a subject conceal merchandise before attempting to leave the store. When officers arrived, they discovered that the subject had previously been banned from Walmart.

Officers arrested 31 year old Elizabeth Cunagin of Brodhead KY and charged her with Theft By Unlawful Taking Shoplifting and Criminal Trespassing 3rd Degree

ARRESTED

Shoplifting Arrest: On 12/20/2018 officers were called to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter that left the store. Employees stated that the subject attempted to push out a buggy full of merchandise before leaving on foot. He was located walking on Ellipse Street and had additional merchandise in his backpack.

Officers arrested 29 year old James Willis of Berea KY and charged him with Theft By Unlawful Taking Shoplifting. Willis had previously been banned from Walmart and he made threats to the arresting officer. He was also charged with Criminal Trespassing 3rd Degree and Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree.
