Berea Police Report Dec. 14, 2018


Drug Arrest: On 12/10/2018 officers went to a residence on Maple Street in an attempt to serve two arrest warrants. Two subjects were found hiding in the attic of the residence and both had active arrest warrants. A small amount of suspected Methamphetamine and Marijuana were located where one of the subjects had been hiding.

Officers charged 35-year-old Cristy Phillips of Berea KY with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.


Drug Arrest: On 12/10/2018 a traffic stop was conducted on Prince Royal Drive for a minor traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle had a suspended license, and after speaking with him a small bag of suspected Methamphetamine was located under the driver seat.

Officers arrested 51-year-old Buford Pearson of Richmond KY and charged him with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine). He was also charged with several traffic offenses.


Burglary: On 12/05/2018 officers were called to Spring Circle Drive in reference to someone being inside a vacant apartment. The front door had been broken and a male subject was found living inside.

Officers arrested 55-year-old Randall Parker of Berea KY and charged him with Burglary 2nd Degree.

Burglary: On 12/09/2018 a resident in the 300 block of Prospect Street reported that their home was entered through a basement window and items were taken from inside. Estimated Loss: $375.00.
