The Madison County Sheriff’s Office initiated a pursuit of a vehicle reported stolen to Berea Police Department on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 around 6:45 p.m.
Deputy Jennifer Kermeen located the vehicle in the city limits of Berea and conducted a traffic stop. As Deputy Kermeen exited her vehicle the driver sped off which started the pursuit.
Deputy Kermeen pursued the vehicle on U.S. 25 south into Rockcastle County. The pursuit continued into Mount Vernon with the driver entering I-75 north bound with the Kentucky State Police assisting.
The Kentucky State Police used the Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) to end the pursuit around the 92 mile marker northbound.
Travis Debord, 31 years old of Mount Vernon was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property u/$10,000, Fleeing and Evading 1st Degree (motor vehicle), Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and various other charges.
Sabrina Neely-Richmond, 30 years old also of Mount Vernon was arrested on an active warrant.
Debord and Neely-Richmond were lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
