Berea Police Report Nov. 28, 2018

ARRESTED

Alcohol Intoxication: On 11/26/2018 officers were called to McDonald’s on Brenwood Street in reference to subjects arguing in the parking lot. They made contact with the subjects and one of them was intoxicated and became belligerent when they tried to speak to him.

Officers arrested 24-year-old Daniel Stachulski of Berea KY and charged him with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place and Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree.

ARRESTED

Alcohol Intoxication: On 11/25/2018 officers were called to Fairfield Inn in reference to a subject causing a disturbance. The subject showed several signs of intoxication and had been harassing other guests at the hotel.

Officers arrested 35-year-old Kenneth Devore of Harrogate TN and charged him with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.

ARRESTED

Alcohol Intoxication: On 11/23/2018 officers were called to Wings Ect in reference to a disturbance. They located one of the involved parties in the parking lot, who showed several signs of intoxication.

Officers arrested 55-year-old Melinda Tanner of Waterford MI and charged her with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.

ARRESTED

Shoplifting Arrest: On 11/22/2018 Walmart employees observed someone conceal items under their clothing.

Officers arrested 36-year-old Billy Wagers of Berea KY and charged him with Theft By Unlawful Taking Shoplifting.

ARRESTED

Disorderly Conduct: On 11/21/2018 officers were called to a dispute between neighbors on Brooklyn Blvd. When they arrived one of the parties involved came outside and began cursing. She continued to curse and cause a disturbance while the officers were present. As she was being placed under arrest, she refused to comply with the officers who were taking her into custody.

Officers charged 24-year-old Shyler Merida of Berea KY with Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest.

ARRESTED

DUI Arrest: On 11/20/2018 a traffic stop was conducted on Richmond Road after a vehicle was observed swerving across the center line, nearly causing a collision. The driver seemed confused and showed several other signs of impairment. There was also a small juvenile passenger in the vehicle.

Officers arrested 38-year-old Ronica Shannon of Berea KY and charged her with Careless Driving, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st Offense, and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.

ARRESTED

Disorderly Conduct: On 11/20/2018 officers were called to St. Joseph Berea in reference to a person causing a disturbance. The subject was located and she was yelling and cursing at hospital staff. As she was being placed under arrest, she resisted but was eventually taken into custody.

Officers charged 41-year-old Amy Hawley of Berea KY with Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest.
