Berea Police Report Nov. 14, 2018

ARRESTED

Drug Arrest: On 11/11/2018 officers observed a suspicious vehicle occupied by three subjects parked behind 204 North Broadway. They began speaking with the subjects and eventually located suspected Heroin and Methamphetamine in the vehicle. One of the subjects then fled on foot but was apprehended after a short foot chase. The other two subjects attempted to give false names to the officers.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Christopher Adams of Berea KY, 42-year-old Shawn Damrell of Berea KY, and 25-year-old Alyssa Sylvia of Berea KY.

Adams was charged with Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Heroin). Damrell and Sylvia were both charged with Giving an Officer False Identifying Information.

ARRESTED

Fraudulent Use of Credit Card: On 11/03/2018 officers arrested 47-year-old Jennifer Gabbard of Berea KY.

An investigation revealed that she took a debit that was left in an ATM, and then made two transactions with the card along with two other subjects. She was charged with Receipt of a Credit Card in Violation of KRS 434.570 and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.

On 11/09/2018 officers arrested 27-year-old Peggy Eversole of Richmond KY and 41-year-old Bobby Vanwinkle of Berea KY in connection with this case.

Eversole was charged with Receipt of a Credit Card in Violation of KRS 434.570 and Giving an Officer False Identifying Information. Vanwinkle was charged with Receipt of a Credit Card in Violation of KRS 434.570.

ARRESTED

Drug Arrest: On 11/07/2018 officers were called to Redi Mart on Glades Road in reference to a subject who was passed out in a vehicle. The subject was asked to step out of the vehicle, and she showed several signs of impairment. She was also in possession of a black pouch that contained suspected Methamphetamine, as well as Hydrocodone and Oxycodone tablets.

Officers arrested 54-year-old Elisa Satterfield of Berea KY and charged her with Public Intoxication, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), and Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree.
