Arrest: 09/04/2018, police charged Edward James Anderson IV, age 31, Richmond, KY with drug and firearm related offenses.
At approximately 8:00 PM, the Richmond Police Department along with members of the Madison County AHIDTA drug task force executed a search warrant at 113 Jonathan Drive in Madison County. Officers seized approximately (800) grams of methamphetamine, (215) grams of heroin, (10) Xanax tablets, and three firearms. One of the firearms had been reported as stolen.
The street value of the seized narcotics is approximately $60,000.00
Anderson was charged for the following offenses and lodged in the MCDC:
- Aggravated Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (>or =100 GMS Heroin)
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (>or = to 2 GMS Methamphetamine)
- Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm)
- Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree
