According to Madison County Sheriff Mike Coyle, on Friday, March 30, 2018 around 11:57 a.m. Deputy Donovan Nolan conducted a traffic stop on Herndon Lane in Berea for a traffic violation.
Through the course of the traffic stop, Deputy Nolan determined the driver to be driving under the influence of intoxications. Continued investigation led to the seizure of suspected Methamphetamine from the vehicle.
Arthur Jay Caldwell Jr. 43 of Richmond, was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence 1st Offense, Operating on a Suspended or Revoked License, Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance 1st Offense, and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine).
Caldwell was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
