The fifth annual Saint Joseph Berea Foundation Gala raised nearly $30,000 for the Saint Joseph Berea Foundation, part of KentuckyOne Health. The event was held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at The Churchill Company and featured dinner, live music from ENCORE of Lexington, dancing and a silent auction
“Each year this event helps raise funds to ensure Saint Joseph Berea patients receive the highest quality of care,” said Leslie Smart, president, Saint Joseph Berea Foundation. “We are thankful for such wonderful community support, which allows us to give back to this great facility.”
Patrick A. Kelleher, MD, Berea Clinic of Internal Medicine, received the Physician Service Award during the gala. Dr. Kelleher specializes in internal medicine and has cared for patients in the Berea area for 35 years.
“We are thrilled to honor Dr. Kelleher with this award for his exceptional service to patients in the Berea community,” said Stephanie Moore, chair, Saint Joseph Berea Foundation. “He is dedicated to our mission of bringing wellness, healing and hope to all, and we are fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring physician in our area.”
Money raised at this year’s Saint Joseph Berea Foundation Gala for Healing and Hope will be invested in the purchasing of equipment to reopen the Saint Joseph Berea Sleep Clinic, as well as outstanding patient care facilities and services, the education of health caregivers, advanced clinical research and improved access to quality medical care.
