The City of Berea Public Works Department has begun clean-up efforts in the wake of this week’s storm. Crews began picking up downed tree limbs on Tuesday. In the meantime, officials urge patience. “We’ll be doing this however long it takes to clean it up,” said Public Works Director Dwayne Brumley. Officials ask residents to stack downed limbs and brush off of city sidewalks and out of streets and gutters. Public Works staff began the effort after clearing snow from 26 miles of city streets, not including state roads within city limits.
