Public Intoxication: On 10/31/2017 officers were called to a residence on Orchard Street in reference to two subjects passed out in a vehicle. Both subjects showed several signs of impairment, and were in possession of several paraphernalia items.
Officers arrested 37 year old Melinda Osborne of Berea KY, and 38 year old David Leone of Richmond KY. They were both charged with Public Intoxication and Drug Paraphernalia Possession.
Shoplifting: On 11/05/2017 officers were called to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. Store employees observed the subject attempt to leave the store with several items that she did not pay for. They also stated that she had previously been banned from the business.
Officers arrested 47 year old Michelle Saylor of Crab Orchard KY and charged her with Theft By Unlawful Taking Shoplifting and Criminal Trespassing.
Burglary: On 11/04/2017 officers were called to Walmart in reference to a female shoplifter, who had left the store on foot. She was located inside of A&W and placed under arrest. Store employees stated that she had previously been trespassed from the store.
Officers charged 44 year old Rebecca Mays of Berea KY with Burglary 3rd Degree.
Wanton Endangerment: On 11/01/2017 officers were called to the area of Redi Mart on Glades Road in reference to a disturbance. Several callers reported that a male subject was attempting to run over a female with his vehicle. Both parties left in the vehicle before the officers arrived, but it was located on Highway 1016. A traffic stop was conducted and both parties were interviewed about the incident. The female, who was now driving the vehicle, stated that the male attempted to run over her after an altercation. The male subject showed several signs of impairment, and was in possession of plastic bag containing synthetic drugs.
Officers arrested 34 year old Charles Matthews of Richmond KY. After he was transported to the Madison County Detention Center, more synthetic drugs were located on his person. He was charged with the following:
-Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree
-Possession of Synthetic Drugs
-Promoting Contraband 1st Degree
Public Intoxication: On 11/01/2017 officers were called to the Dollar General on Prince Royal Drive in reference to a male subject who was passed out. A syringe was located next to the subject who showed several signs of impairment.
Officers arrested 24 year old Dakota Pingleton of Berea KY and charged him with Public Intoxication and Drug Paraphernalia Possession.
Shoplifting Arrest: On 10/30/2017 employees at Walmart observed a subject conceal several items before walking out of the store. Responding officers located the subject walking on Jill Drive and located the stolen merchandise.
Officers arrested 29 year old John Sergent of Cumberland KY and charged him with Theft By Unlawful Taking Shoplifting.
