About the Speaker: Beverly has more than 20 years experience in Human Resources Consulting specializing in outplacement and career transition services, professional search and recruitment, employee climate and attitude surveys, behavioral assessments, hourly and salary compensation design and analysis, wage and benefits administration, and general human resource consulting. She has worked with many companies and clients in various industries including manufacturing, non-profit agencies, financial institutions, health-care providers, internet-related companies, and many others.
Beverly is an active member of a number of civic groups including Commerce Lexington (serving as past Chair of the Education and Professional Development Committee, Facilitator of a Business Advisory Group, member of the Business Owner Advisory Board Steering Committee, and past-Chair of the Ambassador Committee, Awarded Volunteer of the Year 2001); Bluegrass Society for Human Resources Management (former Secretary, former Chair of Diversity and Community Outreach, and current Chair of Professional Development); member Japanese – American Society of Kentucky (JASK); Professional Women’s Forum (former Co-Chair of the Programs Committee, and currently serving on the Board as Secretary); Lexington Forum, National Association of Women Business Owners (formerly President, Chair of Membership Committee, Chair of Programs Committee, former Chair of Corporate Partners, and current Secretary); and as a Fund Distribution Team Member for United Way and Lexington Partners for Youth.
In addition, Beverly is involved with a number of charitable causes and recently served on the Entrepreneurial Committee for the Governor’s Task Force on the Economic Development of Women in the state of Kentucky, and the Business Advisory Board for Midway College. Beverly attended college at Sue Bennett College and the University of Kentucky.
