Bernetta Nelson Lunsford Moles, age 77, died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at St. Joseph Berea Hospital. A native of Berea, she was the daughter of the late Burnam and Laura Baker Lunsford.
She was a nurse, and retired after 42 years of service at the Berea Hospital. Mrs. Moles was of the Baptist Faith and she loved architecture, her family, and traveling.
Mrs. Moles is survived by: her husband, Charles Moles of Berea; her daughter, Kimberly Lunsford Simpson (Wesley) of Berea; her step-son, Karl Moles of Frankfort; her brothers: Bobby Lunsford of Somerset, Ky., and James E. Lunsford (Ruth) of Berea; her sister: Frieda Bickford Deaton of Louisville, Ky.; her grandsons, Ryan Prater, Joseph Jackson, and Christopher Jackson (Octavia) all of Berea; step-grandson, Blake Simpson of London, Ky. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lora Lee Williams.
A graveside service for Mrs. Moles will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Berea Cemetery with Rev. Don Stayton officiating. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home.
