Buck Ingram, 82, of Berea, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Baptist Health Lexington. He was a Madison County native born July 26, 1932, son of the late Charlie and Lucy Brewer Ingram
He was a retired truck driver for Mid-State Distributing Company in Lexington, member of Silver Creek Baptist Church, and had been a resident of Berea most of his life.
Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Carol Crepps Ingram; 1 son, Ron (Rena) Crepps; 2 brothers, Roy (Lucy) Ingram, George (Eva) Ingram; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 sisters, Mary Adams, Becky Alcorn, Louise Cairell, Maggie Shearer, Bessie Ingram, Dessie Ingram.
Funeral Service 1:00 pm Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Reppert Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Hisle officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 – 9:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Ricky Ingram, Jeff Ingram, Scott Damrell, Brooks Ingram, Tyler Ingram, Robert Jones.
Philip Andrew Ross
Philip Andrew Ross, age 68, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Baptist Health Lexington. Philip was born October 16, 1946, in Washington, D.C., a son of Sanford and Margaret Ross, both of whom preceded him in death.
Philip’s older brother, Jay Ross, also preceded him as did Harvey Kent Brock, Philip’s close friend and companion for 34 years.
Survivors include: his sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Julius Gaal; his brother, John Ross; his sister and brother-in-law, Jeannie and Bob Hummel; numerous nieces and nephews; and his close friends, Chad Rogers, Charolette Sallie and Fawn Linke.
Philip was a retired computer analyst for the U.S. Department of Defense in Washington, D.C.
A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2014, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Dr. Dennis Brewer officiating. Interment will follow at Richmond Cemetery.

The memorial service for Dr. Robert N. Grise is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25, at 7 p.m., at the Richmond Area Arts Center on the corner of Water Street and Lancaster Avenue.

Joslyn Rose Kofoid
Joslyn Rose Kofoid age 60, wife of Larry Kofoid of Berea, passed away Thursday Nov. 20, 2014 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky. Joslyn was born in Richmond, Indiana to Sue Medley Kenyon and the late Carl Amann.
She was a member of the Berea United Methodist Church, a Veteran of the United States Army, and a retiree of the Bluegrass Army Depot where she worked in Resource Management.
Joslyn is survived by her husband Larry Kofoid, her children Sarah Kofoid and Larry (Laura) Kofoid II, along with her mother Sue Medley (Carl) Kenyon, her brother Darrell Amann and her grandchildren: Brooke, Owen, and Caleb Kofoid, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Memorial services will be held Monday Nov. 24, 2014 at 5:30 pm at the Berea United Methodist Church. Lakes Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Katherine Mabes Curtis
Katherine Mabes Curtis, age 71, of Berea died November 22, 2014 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. She was a native of Harlan, KY born to the late Levi Caleb and Mary Ellen Collins Mabes. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Light House Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Curtis is survived by her brothers: Leslie Mabes of Richmond, KY., and Donald (Judy) Mabes of Berea, KY. Also surviving are five step children, three nieces, three great nieces and two great nephews. A special friend Anna Garner also survives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Curtis will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Light House Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Himes officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery in Waco. Her nieces and Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm also at the church.

Jimmy Lainhart, 57, of Berea, died Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. He was a Madison County native born July 14, 1957, heavy equipment operator at Vulcan Materials Company for over 27 years, former resident of Lexington, and member of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his loving wife, Teresa Taylor Lainhart; 4 children, Mistie (Bobby) Johnson, Erika (Jamie) Arnold, Brandon (Amanda) Taylor, Paige (Kristopher) Strebeck; 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters; as well as, numerous relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mack Lainhart; his mother, Amy Gabbard Hart; and his step-father, Gary Hart.

Lawrence Darrell Fritz
Lawrence Darrell Fritz, 74, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. He was born on October 29, 1940 in Madison County, the son of the late Donald and Elizabeth Bucher Fritz.
He was a retired employee of Westinghouse-Phillips and was a former Bus Driver for the Madison County School System. He loved God with all his heart and served as a Deacon and Elder in the Christian Church for many years. He was currently an active member of The Community Christian Church on Boggs Lane. His favorite hymn was “I’ll Fly Away”.
He was a devoted husband and father. Darrell was a loving, kind and gentle man, who cherished his family and many friends. His interest included UK Basketball, MCHS Sports, reading, current events and going to Wendy’s for lunch. He and Lois especially enjoyed taking Wendy’s chili and hamburgers to the sick and shut-ins.
He is survived by the loves of his life, his wife of fifty years: Lois Edwards Fritz; daughters and son-in-law: Lori Fritz and Amy and Dean Calhoun; also surviving are one brother: Jimmy Fritz and his wife Betty; one sister: Joy Cormney and a brother-in-law: Bert Isaacs.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Harry Hebert and Bro. Jonathan Sells officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Katherine Casey Davis
Katherine Casey Davis, 79, of Poosey Ridge, the widow of Rondal Davis, passed away Sunday morning, November 16, 2014, at Baptist Health-Richmond. Mrs. Davis was born in Madison County on December 2, 1934, the daughter of the late Larue and Minnie Land Casey.
She was a member of the Salem Christian Church, where she had served as Sunday School Secretary and Treasurer and Sunday School Teacher. She also served as President of the Ladies Circle, was VBS Director and was the church housekeeper for thirty-one years. She was a homemaker, loved cooking, sewing and gardening.
Survivors include one brother: Stanley Casey of Lancaster; a half-sister: Marie Kimrey of Cincinnati, Ohio; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew: Bob Casey (Linda) of Waco, Ky; and a host of friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Dean and Larue Casey Jr., two half-brothers: Alvin and Orville Casey.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:30 PM Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. John McCord, Bro. Bob Casey and Bro. Larry David Freeman officiating. Wanda Jean Moore
Mrs. Wanda Jean Moore, age 81 of Mt. Vernon, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. She was born in Wildie, KY on October 12, 1933 the daughter of Luther and Sallie Dalton Bishop. She was a homemaker, a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church and loved gardening and animals.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband: Roland Moore of Mt. Vernon; two daughters: Vickie Hedge of Oxford, OH and Debbie Pitman of Hamilton, OH; six brothers: Jimmy Bishop of Lancaster, CA, Jack Bishop of Wildie, KY, Glen Bishop of Hamilton, OH, Robert Bishop of Los Angeles, CA, Ronnie Bishop of Fairfield, OH and Shirley Bishop of Pensacola, FL and two sisters: Pauline Ramsey of Wildie, KY and Christine Marconi of Canton, OH.
Also surviving are two grandchildren: Fawn and Ray Taylor and Joshua and Holly Pitman and two great grandchildren: Gambriel White and Sarah Pitman and family friend Ron Taylor.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by two sisters: Helen Renner and Nannie Crews.
There will be no visitation or funeral service for Mrs. Moore. The family has requested that any donations be made to the Rockcastle County Animal Shelter in memory of Mrs. Wanda Moore and her love of animals.

Mildred Long Hale
Mildred Long Hale, 72, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Christian Care Center in Garrard County, Kentucky. Born Saturday, November 22, 1941 in Madison County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Q.C. and Ethel Hensley Long.
She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, enjoyed cooking, her prayer circle, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Hale, and brothers; James Long and Bill Long.
Her survivors include, sons; William Ronald (Terri) Hale, of Paint Lick, Kentucky, Harold Douglas (Josephine) Hale daughter; Lisa Kay (Richard) Edgington, step son; Wayne (Jeanie) Hale, brothers; Marvin Long and Mason Long, all of Garrard County, a sister; Faye Bach, of Richmond, Kentucky, six grandchildren; Ritchie Edgington, Emily Edgington, Shawnta Hale, Samantha Hale, Christy Joe Hensley, Brandi Hale, great-grandchildren; Brett, Madison and Sophie Edgington, Jordan Causey, Wesley Hale, Charlie and Avery Madison Hensley.
Services for Mildred will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Ramsey Funeral Home with Bro. Dallas Murphy officiating, with burial following in Camp Nelson Cemetery in Jessamine County, Kentucky. Visitation will be 6:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Funeral Home.

Emma Forrest Richardson
Emma Forrest Richardson, age 72, of Campbell Branch in Irvine passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at her home following a sudden illness. She was born January 6, 1942 in Powell County and was the daughter of the late Tom and Dora Smallwood Wierman.
She was a homemaker and had lived in Estill County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Blondell Richardson.
She is survived by 3 Daughters Rhonda Tipton & husband, Paul of Berea, Camera Wiseman & husband, Robby of Ravenna, Andy Abney & Marty Stapleton of Irvine, 1 Son Blondell Richardson, Jr. of Ravenna, 1 Sister Modena Stough of Berea, 3 Brothers Jimmy Wierman of Washington Co., Cecil Wierman of Winchester, Johnny Wierman of Stanton.
She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren Trey Wiseman, Jessica Abney, Hank Wiseman and Hannah Abney, and a Special Friend Alvin “Dud” Barnes of Irvine.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 21, 4 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Bob Mills and Bro. Terry Barnes. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 3 PM Friday at the Funeral Home.

James Webb Jr.
James Webb Jr. was born January 26, 1932 in Jackson County and departed this life Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, being 82 years of age. He was the son of the late Marion C. & Addie (Harrison) Webb.
James is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy (Harrison) Webb of McKee and by four children, Richard A. Webb and his wife Karen of London, Donna S. Neal of McKee, Janet R. Mays and her husband David of McKee and James M. Webb of Hebron. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters, Ellis Webb of Richmond, IN, Geneva Webb and Eugene Webb both of Berea, Ronald Webb, Elbert Webb, Vola Toler, Bob Webb, Mary Baker & Don Webb all of McKee. James was blessed with seven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by three siblings, Mildred Webb, Pauline Harrison and Raymond Webb and by his step mother, Ivory (Mays) Webb.
James was of the Holiness Faith.
Funeral service was held 1:00PM Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Lakes Funeral Home McKee with Bro. Leonard Wilder and Bro. Bobby Harris officiating. Burial followed in the Birch Lick Cemetery. Visitation was 6:00PM Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Funeral Home.
