On August 14th, Elisabeth Jensen will hold two events: a roundtable coffee listening session with members of her “Kentucky Moms Caucus” in Frankfort to mark the beginning of back to school week, and an event with seniors celebrating the 79th birthday of Social Security at a senior center.
At the Kentucky Moms roundtable event, Elisabeth will be asking the Moms for their input on how to get Congress re-focused on priorities that matter to working moms – like unequal pay for women, low wages and the rising cost of college.
At the Social Security event, Elisabeth will bring a cake to seniors at the Bridgeport at Ashgrove Woods senior living facility to celebrate the 79th birthday of Social Security. The cake will be inscribed with the message “Cut Cake, Not Social Security.”
