The Paducah Symphony Orchestra, in partnership with the Lower Town Arts & Music Festival, is seeking applications for local and regional musicians of all genres for the 2014 Lower Town Arts & Music Festival. This year’s festival runs from May 16 to May 17, 2014. The festival celebrates local and regional artists and performers so all performers are asked to be within 300 miles of Paducah, KY.
The Lower Town Arts & Music Festival in Paducah, Kentucky is THE regional Festival for Western Kentucky and the surrounding area. The Festival’s mission is to celebrate the cultural richness of this part of the country. In 2012 and again in 2013, LTAMF was selected as one of the Top Ten Spring Festivals in Kentucky by the Kentucky State Tourism Bureau.
Selected performers will be asked to perform on both the main stage as well as the secondary stage. All interested musicians should apply by February 12, 2014 at 5:00pm CT. Accepted performing artists will be notified by March 1, 2014. Since the PSO and LTAMF are non-profit organizations, performers are encouraged to consider donating their services.
