Many of you have heard about a rumored threat at MSHS Eagles (Madison Southern High School). We believe there is NO actual threat or viable threat to the safety of any of our students or staff. We are and will continue to work with Berea Police Department and other local law enforcement to ensure the safety of everyone involved. There will be an increased police presence on the campus tomorrow and in the coming days as a precaution. Tuesday night at a meeting of the Berea City Council, Mayor Steve Connelly signed a proclamation honoring the varsity football champions of Madison Southern High School. Foley Middle School student Chris Begley competed in the Region 4 Middle School wrestling tournament on Saturday, January 20th where he took 1st place in the 86 pound weight class. Begley is a 7th grader at Foley Middle school and a member of the Madison Southern Wrestling Eagles High School team.
