Berea Fire Department October 2018 public service statistics

Even without emergency calls, it was a busy month for the Berea Fire Department.

Among the 51 emergency/non-emergency calls the department handled during the month of October, calls included:

The Berea Fire Depart has completed 648 service calls so far this year.

Additionally, in the month of October, the Berea Fire Department participated in a mock air crash drill, a mock vehicle accident at Berea Community High School, 24-hour EMT certification, hosted a fire extinguisher class as Westside Baptist Church, conducted a two-day event at the Child Development Laboratory (CDL), participated in Career Day at Silver Creek Elementary, participated in Berea Cool Rides educational program, welcomed a Cub Scout troop to Station 1, was present at Farristown Baptist Church Family Fun Day, conducted 109 pre-plan and building inspections, and two firefighters completed a 40-hour IFSAC (International Fire Service Accreditation Congress) certification course as aerial operators (ladder truck).
