Berea Police Report Sept. 11, 2018

ARRESTED

Disorderly Conduct: On 09/05/2018 officers were called to Prospect Street in reference to a disturbance. They observed two subjects run down the street, then attempt to leave the area in a vehicle. The two subjects had been at a residence trying to fight with a third subject.

Officers arrested 30-year-old Jordan Hays of Berea KY and 42-year-old Shawn Damrell of Berea KY. They were both charged with Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree.

ARRESTED

Giving an Officer a False Name: On 09/10/2018 officers were called to a residence on Candlewood Drive in reference to a drug complaint. They made contact with a male and a female and identified the subjects. One of the subjects showed an active arrest warrant. He then attempted several times to claim that he was someone else.

Officers arrested 38-year-old Timothy Lykins of Berea KY and charged him with Giving an Officer False Identifying Information in addition to the arrest warrant.

ARRESTED

DUI Arrest: On 09/09/2018 officers were called to the parking lot of Mario’s Pizza in reference to a subject passed out in a vehicle. The caller stated that the subject had just passed out at a red light and pulled into the parking lot. The driver of the vehicle had a strong odor of alcohol and showed several other signs of intoxication.

Officers arrested 50-year-old Orla Munyan of Berea KY and charged him with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st Offense and No Operator’s License.

ARRESTED

Alcohol Intoxication: On 09/08/2018 officers were called to McDonald’s on Brenwood Street in reference to an intoxicated subject. The subject was located in the parking lot and showed several signs of intoxication. He became upset and began yelling and cursing in the parking lot of the business.

Officers arrested 40-year-old Mark Morris of Nicholasville KY and charged him with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place and Disorderly Conduct.

ARRESTED

Disorderly Conduct: On 09/08/2018 an officer was at a residence conducting a theft investigation. A male subject showed up to the residence and began cursing and yelling at the person who was being interviewed.

Officers arrested 50-year-old Gregory Roe of Lexington KY and charged him with Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree.

ARRESTED

DUI Arrest: On 09/08/2018 an off-duty officer drove up on an accident on Jefferson Street. He observed one of the vehicles drive away from the scene at a high rate of speed. He followed the vehicle to Prospect Street where he observed the vehicle drive into the opposite lane of traffic. The vehicle pulled into a residence as other officers arrived. The driver of the vehicle had a strong odor of alcohol and showed other signs of intoxication.

Officers arrested 61-year-old Elizabeth Barrett of Berea KY and charged her with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st Offense, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Reckless Driving.

ARRESTED

DUI Arrest: On 09/07/2018 officers were called to Boone Street in reference to a vehicle that had been involved in a hit and run accident. The vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver of the vehicle showed several signs of intoxication and had a suspended driver’s license.

Officers arrested 30-year-old Dimas Perez of Berea KY and charged him with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st Offense, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Operating on a Suspended Operator’s License.

ARRESTED

Drug Arrest: On 09/07/2018 officers were called to Walnut Meadow Road in reference to two subjects fighting inside of a vehicle. The vehicle was located, and the two subjects were separated. One of the subjects had a brown change purse in his pants pocket that contained suspected Methamphetamine.

Officers arrested 25-year-old Timothy Garland of Berea KY and charged him with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine).

ARRESTED

Drug Arrest: On 09/07/2018 an officer made contact with three suspicious subjects at Memorial Park. While he was speaking with them, one of the female subjects appeared to hide something in her shorts. She eventually admitted that she hid Methamphetamine in her clothing.

Officers arrested 28-year-old Megan McCracken of Brodhead KY and charged her with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine) and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
