New signal pattern scheduled for US 25/Richmond Road


The US 25 Widening Project – Ellipse Street/Fairground Road to Glades Road and extending to the Berea Bypass in Madison County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 16, 2018) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that this advisory serves as an update for the US 25/Richmond Road widening project.

A new signal pattern with split phasing will be in place at the Glades Road intersection. The phasing will assist with the volume of traffic for Foley Middle School and Madison Southern High School.

o US 25/Northbound – a protected green signal will be in effect
o US 25/Southbound – a protected green signal will be in effect

Thursday, August 16 – 11:00 a.m. (time is approximate)

The location for the new signal pattern will be in effect at the following:

· the Glades Road intersection at milepoint 4.912

Motorists should utilize caution and be aware of the changes for the intersection.
