Berea Police Report 5/9/2018

ARRESTED

Alcohol Intoxication: On 05/03/2018 officers were called to the area of Berea Community School in reference to an intoxicated person. The subject had a strong odor of alcohol, and showed other signs of intoxication.

Officers arrested 37 year old Douglas Lacy of Richmond KY and charged him with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.

ARRESTED

Drug Arrest: On 05/03/2018 officers were called to the Terrace in reference to two suspicious people in the parking lot. The subjects were located inside of a parked vehicle, and one of them had an active arrest warrant. The subject was placed under arrest, and container with 2 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located in the vehicle near where he had been sitting.

Officers charged 42 year old Jason Blair of Berea KY with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine).

ARRESTED

Public Intoxication: On 05/01/2018 officers were called to the area of George Street in reference to a suspicious person. A subject was observed stumbling in the street, and he showed other signs of impairment.

Officers arrested 34 year old Anthony Lamb of Berea KY and charged him with Public Intoxication.

ARRESTED

DUI Arrest: On 05/01/2018 officers received a call about a possible intoxicated driver at Circle K on Chestnut Street. The vehicle was spotted on Estill Street, and a traffic stop was conducted after the vehicle was observed crossing the center line. The driver had a strong odor of alcohol, and showed several other signs of intoxication.

Officers arrested 35 year old Cynthia Arthur of Berea KY and charged her with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st Offense.

ARRESTED

Shoplifting Arrest: On 04/30/2018 Walmart employees observed a female subject attempt to leave the store with merchandise that she did not pay for.

Officers arrested 23 year old Farrah Coomes of Richmond KY and charged her with Theft by Unlawful Taking Shoplifting.

Theft: On 05/07/2018 a resident in the 200 Block of Glades Road reported that an ATV and utility trailer were stolen overnight. Estimated Loss: $1,700.00.
