Richmond Police Report Feb. 1, 2018

Parole Violation Warrant: On 01/31/2018 at approximately 8:06 PM, Richmond Police responded to a residence located on Boggs Lane in reference to a possible burglary in progress. Officers made contact with a female victim who told officers she had been held against her will since her son was released from jail on 01/15/2018.

Officers located and arrested Carl L. Banks (37) inside the residence. A subsequent investigation resulted in Mr. Banks being charged with Assault (Domestic Violence), Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, Possession of Cont. Sub. (Methamphetamine), Poss. Of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Mischief 3rd. Mr. Banks was also served with a parole violation warrant for absconding parole supervision and failure to report to a parole officer resulting from a 2017 conviction in Madison County for Wanton Endangerment 1st.

Mr. Banks was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center and charged with Assault (Domestic Violence), Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, Possession of Cont. Sub. (Methamphetamine), Poss. Of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Mischief 3rd.
