Berea Police Report Feb. 13, 2018

ARRESTED

Sex Abuse: On 02/02/2018 Investigators arrested 31 year old Jessi Clark of Berea KY as the result of a sex abuse investigation.

The investigation revealed that Clark had sexual contact on several occasions with a family member under the age of 10.

Clark was charged with the following:
-Sexual Abuse 1st Degree Victim Under 12 Years of Age
-Promoting a Minor (U/16) in Sex Performance
-Unlawful transaction with a Minor 1st, Illegal Sex Act U/16 YOA
-Rape 1st Degree Victim <12 Years of Age
-Incest-Victim U/12 YOA or Serious Physical Injury

ARRESTED

Assault Arrest: On 02/10/2018 Officers arrested 21 year old Christopher Vanwinkle of Berea KY as the result of an investigation. Vanwinkle caused injury to a child that was in his care by picking the child up by his ears.

He was charged with Assault 4th Degree (Child Abuse).

ARRESTED

DUI Arrest: On 02/11/2018 officers were called to Walnut Meadow Road in reference to a vehicle in a ditch. The driver of the vehicle showed several signs of intoxication and admitted to drinking.

Officers arrested 34 year old Joshua Martin of Berea KY and charged him with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st Offense.

ARRESTED

DUI Arrest: On 02/09/2018 a traffic stop was conducted on Glades Road. The driver nearly struck a curb before being pulled over, and showed several signs of impairment after being stopped.

Officers arrested 35 year old Ruby Coyle of Mount Vernon KY and charged her with Operating A Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st Offense. She was also charged with some other traffic related offenses.

ARRESTED

Disorderly Conduct: On 02/09/2018 officers were called to McDonald’s on Brenwood Drive in reference to a subject causing a disturbance. The subject was yelling and kicking chairs and signs inside of the business.

Officers arrested 37 year old Douglas Lacy of Berea KY and charged him with Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree.

ARRESTED

EPO/DVO Violation: On 02/08/2018 officers were called to Miracle Street in reference to s disturbance involving a male and female. When officers arrived, they spoke to both parties and learned there was an active protective order. The order stipulated that the two subjects were not supposed to have any contact.

Officers arrested 42 year old William Wilson of Richmond KY and charged him with Violation of a KY EPO/DVO.

ARRESTED

Public Intoxication: On 02/03/2018 an officer located a subject who appeared to be passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot of McDonald’s on Brenwood Drive. The subject showed several signs of impairment, and was placed under arrest.

Officers charged 54 year old Joseph Nicholson of Richmond KY with Public Intoxication.

ARRESTED

Alcohol Intoxication: On 02/03/2018 in the early morning hours, and officer made contact with a suspicious person walking on Kaye Street. After speaking with the subject, it was clear that he was intoxicated, and he was placed under arrest.

Officers charged 37 year old Glenn Trivette of Richmond KY with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.

Theft: On 02/06/2018 a resident in the 400 block of Brown Street reported that a utility trailer was stolen from his home. Estimated Loss: $2,800.00.

Theft: On 02/05/2018 a resident in the 200 block of Brown Street reported that mail was stolen from his mailbox.
