Arrest made in Clay Co. School Threat

On Sunday, February 18, 2018 at approximately 1:20 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a call about a social media post threatening school violence at the Clay County Middle School.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a 13-year-old male who attends Clay County Middle School had posted on his Facebook page that he was going to bring a gun to school on Monday. Shortly after sending the post, the juvenile was located, arrested, and lodged in the Breathitt County Juvenile Detention Center on the charge of Terroristic Threatening 2nd Degree.

Trooper Logan Wolfe is continuing the investigation. He was assisted by Troopers from Post 11 and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
