Public Intoxication: On 10/09/2017 officers were called to the area of Paint Lick Road in reference to a male subject who was possibly under the influence. The subject showed several signs of impairment and was placed under arrest.
Officers charged 24 year old Tristen Robinson of Williamsburg KY with Public Intoxication.
Public Intoxication: On 10/08/2017 officers were called to McDonald’s on Brenwood Street in reference to a male subject who was passed out in the lobby. When they arrived, he kept passing out and showed several signs of impairment.
Officers arrested 43 year old Johnny Meadows Jr. of Berea KY and charged him with Public Intoxication.
Public Intoxication: On 10/07/2017 officers were called to the area of East Haiti Road in reference to a male subject stumbling in the roadway. The subject was located passed out on a front porch and showed several signs of impairment.
Officers arrested 32 year old Curtis Sparks of Berea KY and charged him with Public Intoxication.
Shoplifting Arrest: On 10/07/2017 officers were called to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. Before they arrived, he ran on foot towards the area of the Dollar Tree. A responding officer observed the subject running and ordered him to stop. He was apprehended after a short foot chase, and the merchandise was recovered.
Officers arrested 24 year old Cammie Neeley of Berea KY and charged him with Theft by Unlawful Taking Shoplifting and Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree.
Assault: On 10/06/2017 an officer was flagged down on Center Street, and observed a male subject with a stab wound in his chest. He then observed the possible suspect get in the passenger seat of a vehicle that was parked in front of the residence. The officer ordered the subject out the vehicle, who then fled on foot into the wooded area beside of Fairway Drive. He was apprehended after a short foot chase and placed under arrest. The knife that was used was recovered inside of the vehicle where the subject had been sitting. An investigation revealed that he came to the home on Center Street to confront the homeowner about a dispute the two were having, which led to the stabbing.
Officers arrested 39 year old Gregory Seney of Lancaster KY and charged him with the following:
-Assault 2nd Degree
-Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree
Drug Arrest: On 10/04/2017 officers were called to St. Joseph Berea in reference to female on the property who was passed out on a bench. She showed several signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. She was in possession of a plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine and several unidentified pills.
Officers arrested 42 year old Kandy McNew of Berea KY and charged her with Public Intoxication, Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug, and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine).
Drug Arrest: On 10/04/2017 officers were called to Red Roof Inn to assist EMS with a male subject who was passed out in a vehicle. When they arrived, they spoke with the subject who showed several signs of impairment. The subject was placed under arrest and several small baggies containing suspected methamphetamine and marijuana were located on his person. He was also in possession of a large amount of cash. In his vehicle they located more suspected methamphetamine, suspected heroin, clonazepam and gabapentin tablets, and several items of paraphernalia.
Officers arrested 43 year old Randall Hayes of McKee KY and he was transported to the Berea Police Department. They later discovered that he had swallowed several clonazepam tablets.

-Drug Paraphernalia Possession
-Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine)
-Trafficking Controlled Substance 3rd Degree
-Possession of Marijuana
-Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug
-Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Heroin)
-Possession of Synthetic Drugs
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
Alcohol Intoxication: On 10/03/2017 officers were called to the area of Main Street in reference to a male subject who was causing a disturbance. He was located inside of Boone Tavern and showed several signs of intoxication.
Officers arrested 68 year old Virgil Janeway address unknown and charged him with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.
Public Intoxication: On 10/01/2017 officers were called to BP on Paint Lick Road in reference to someone who had been sitting in the parking lot for over an hour. When they made contact with the subject, he showed several signs of impairment and was placed under arrest.
Officers charged 52 year old Ty Embry of Paint Lick KY with Public Intoxication.
Receiving Stolen Property: On 09/30/2017 officers arrested 36 year old Gwenivere Hart of Berea KY for an arrest warrant.
She was also charged with Receiving Stolen Property U/$10,000 after an investigation revealed that she had been in possession of a stolen vehicle several days earlier.
