Drug Arrest: On 07/17/2017 officers were called to Spring Circle Drive in reference to a suspicious male in the area. He was located passed out with synthetic marijuana cigarette on his chest. He also had two outstanding arrest warrants, and was placed under arrest. He had two small bags of synthetic marijuana and rolling papers in his pockets.
Officers arrested 23 year old Nathan Jones of Berea KY and charged him with Public Intoxication, Possession of Synthetic Drugs, and Drug Paraphernalia Possession.
Shoplifting Arrest: On 07/19/2017 officers were called to Walmart after employees observed a female attempt to leave the store with concealed merchandise. Inside her purse she had a small plastic bag containing marijuana and rolling papers.
Officers arrested 40 year old Christina Baker of Berea KY and charged her with Theft by Unlawful Taking Shoplifting , Drug Paraphernalia Possession, and Possession of Marijuana.
Disorderly Conduct/Assault: On 07/19/2017 officers were called to Berea Coffee and Tea in reference to a male subject causing a disturbance. When they arrived, they located the subject yelling at someone inside of the business. As they attempted to place him under arrest, he headbutted one of the officers.
Officers arrested 34 year old James Allen of Berea KY and charged him with Disorderly Conduct, Assault 3rd Degree, and Resisting Arrest.
Public Intoxication: On 07/30/2017 officers were called to Saint Joseph Berea in reference to a male subject who was under the influence. The subject was incoherent and showed several other signs of impairment.
Officers arrested 20 year old Tyler Sparks of Berea KY and charged him with Public Intoxication.
Burglary: On 07/20/2017 a resident in the 1000 block of Brooklyn Blvd reported that her residence was entered while she was gone, and items were taken.
Theft: On 07/25/2017 a complainant stated that the license plate was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot in the 300 block of Richmond Road.
Theft: On 07/26/2017 a complainant reported that her vehicle was stolen several days earlier while it was parked on Chestnut Street. Estimated Loss: $3000.00.
Criminal Mischief: On 07/19/2017 a resident in the 200 block of Baldwin Street reported that her car window was busted, and her lawn decorations were damaged. Estimated Loss: $400.00.
