Richmond Police Report July 24, 2017


Trafficking in a Controlled Substance: On Friday, July 21, 2017, the Richmond Police Department assisted by the Madison County Drug Task Force (HIDTA) executed a search warrant on a residence located on Letcher Drive in Richmond, KY.Officers seized more than (9) pounds of marijuana, over (10) grams of cocaine, a handgun and approximately $32,000.00 dollars in US Currency. In addition to the conventional marijuana, officers located approximately (70) individual packages of Marijuana wax.

The investigation led to the arrest of the occupants: Amy Miller (26) and Christopher Cummings (29). Both were charged with trafficking in marijuana over 5 LBS. and trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree (cocaine)

Cummings and Miller were lodged at the Madison County Detention Center.


Possession of Controlled: On 07/22/2017, Richmond police arrested Julian Floyd, 20 of Snellville, Georgia for Possession of Controlled Substance 1st ( Hyrocodone).

Floyd was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.


Possession of Controlled Substance: On 07/22/2017, Richmond police arrested Curtis Collins, 37 of Brandy Lane. Richmond Kentucky for Possession of Controlled Substance 1st (Heroin) and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st (Methamphetamine).

Collins was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.


Receiving Stolen Property: On 07/23/2017, Richmond police arrested Cody Shelton, 22 of Westover Ave. Richmond, Kentucky. Shelton was in Possession of a stolen moped. Shelton was charged with Receiving Stolen Property.

Shelton was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.


Wanton Endangerment: On 07/21/2017, Richmond police arrested Antonio Morales, 37, of Richmond, Kentucky for Wanton Endangerment 2nd ( Police Officer) ,Possession of Controlled Substance 1st (Heroin), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and illegal Possession of a Legend Drug.

The officer was exposed to a substance that showed a resemblance to Fentanyl in the suspects wallet. As a precaution the officer was treated at Baptist Health and later released.

Morales was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.

Theft by Deception: On 07/20/2017, Richmond police arrested Damarius Johnson, 24 of Covington Georgia for Theft by Deception and shoplifting. Johnson went into a Subway and quick changed the cashier, receiving $100.00. Suspect left the store and went to another Subway to do the same thing, but this Subway was notified to be on the lookout for the suspect. The suspect did go to the other Subway, but was apprehended by police.

The suspect says that he does this at Subways all over in order to make money. Suspect figured he would stop by Richmond and make a couple hundred dollars, but was caught.

Johnson was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.


Trafficking in Controlled Substance: On 07/19/2017, Richmond police arrested Damon Hightower, 40, of Detroit, Michigan for Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st ( Cocaine), Possession of Handgun by a Convicted Felon and Possession of Marijuana.

Hightower was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.


Trafficking in Controlled Substance: On 07/19/2017, Richmond police arrested Toby Haynes, 41, of Richmond, Kentucky for Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st (Cocaine), Possession of Handgun by a Convicted Felon and Possession of Marijuana.

Haynes was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.

ARRESTED

Robbery: On 07/19/2017, Richmond police arrested Tasha Alexander,37 of Berea, Kentucky for Robbery 2nd after Alexander shoplifted at Save A Lot and attempted to fight employees so she wouldn’t get arrested.

Alexander was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.

ARRESTED

Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon: On 07/16/2017, Richmond police arrested Brian Abner, 36, of Hwy 1016, Berea, Kentucky for Failure to Appear, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Receiving Stolen Property.

Abner was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.

ARRESTED

Manufacturing Methamphetamine: On 07/18/2017, Richmond police arrested Samuel Isaacs, 32, of Hines Motel for Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st. Isaac had a one step meth lab in his room.

Issac was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.


Shoplifting: On 07/18/2017, Richmond police arrested Kelton Klemes, 20 of N. Porter Dr for shoplifting $78.09 worth of merchandise from Kroger.

Klemes was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.

REWARD

Reward: On 06/29/2017 at 02:34am, Richmond police Investigated a Armed Robbery at Circle K on Amberley Way, Richmond, Kentucky. A white male entered the store with a handgun and demanded money.Suspect was around 5’8 to 5’9 190 to 200 lbs wearing dark colored cargo pants.Suspect left with a undisclosed amount of money.
