Beulah Mae Conn
Beulah Mae Sebastian Conn, age 89, of Cartersville, Ky., widow of the late Marvin Conn, died peacefully Wednesday June 28, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Cartersville, Ky. Mrs. Conn was born on December 14, 1927 to the late Mary Jude Gabbard and Carl Gabbard.
She was a lifelong resident of Garrard County, a member of the Leavel Green Christian Church, joining in 1946, a member of the Cartersville Ruritan Club, a member of the Paint Lick Sportsman Club, a dairy farmer and had been an employee of the Parker Seals Company.
Mrs. Conn is survived by one daughter, Holly (Arthur) Wilmot, three grandchildren, Rick (Becky) Wilmot, Lisa Lear, Bryan (Kelly) Wilmot and by nine great grandchildren. She is also survived, by one nephew, Alan (Becky) Pearson, one sister-in-law Margie Causey, one grand daughter-in-law Leslee Miller, two great nephews, a great great nephew & niece and a host of other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Conn was preceded in death by one sister Geneva Cindy Smith.
Funeral services for Mrs. Conn will be 2:00pm Monday July 3, 2017 at Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Harvey Sprye and Bro. Stevie Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cartersville Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00pm – 9:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Rick Wilmot, Chris Robinson, Allen Day, Wayne Art, Jimmy Tudor, Ray Hammonds, Wayne Day, and Tom Mosier. Honorary pallbearers are Marshall Damrell, Kenneth Dale Abbott, Caywood Metcalf, Mark Metcalf, Danny Day, Robert Childress, Wes Rose, Sherman Sparks.
