Citizens Police Academy: The Berea Police Department is partnering with the other law enforcement agencies in Madison County to bring back the Citizens Police Academy. It will begin in September and consist of 10 weeks of classes and graduation on week 11. We believe this is a great program to let citizens experience some of the training that goes into being a law-enforcement officer. We hope to eventually have an online application, but for now applications must be picked up and returned to the Richmond Police Department. The deadline for applications is July 14.
