James Clifton Lamb Sr.
James Clifton Lamb Sr. age 82 of Berea, KY passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at the VA hospital in Lexington. Born May 25, 1933 in Rockcastle County to the late William Riley and Stella Mae (Isaacs) Lamb.
He was a devoted soldier in the US military. He was a lifelong member of Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Crestview Holy Sanctuary Church in Berea. He was a retiree of Parker Seal, where he achieved perfect attendance for 36 years.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years Shirley Lamb of Berea, their children Kathy (Jim) McGuire of Berea, Jim (Brenda) Lamb of Richmond, Rod (Sheila) Ledford of London; one sister Alice Belle Saylor of Berea; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two sisters Wanda Faye Lamb Stephens, Mary Lamb Sizemore and one brother Charles Lamb.
Funeral services will be 3pm Saturday at Crestview Holy Sanctuary with Bro. Rod Ledford, Bro. Harold Eads and Bro. Virgil Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lamb Cemetery in Conway. Visitation will be Friday evening after 5pm at Crestview Holy Sanctuary.
Pallbearers will be Shawn McGuire, Brent McGuire, Rodney Ledford, Anthony Lee, Ashton Tyree, Tyler Newell, Bill Saylor and Bill Pence. Honorary bearers will be Riley Ledford, Kevin Newell, Wayne Stephens, Tevis Newell and Paul Saylor.

Gary D. Rowan
The Rev. Gary D. Rowan, 62, of Bowling Green, entered into rest June 12, 2015, at the Hospice House.
Gary was born Aug. 18, 1952, in Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Mitzi Utterback Rowan; his parents, Charles E. Rowan and Ima Elizabeth Burton Rowan; and two brothers, Bill Johnson and Chuck Rowan.
Gary was a retired United Methodist minister having pastored at Adairville, Oakland, Park City, St. James in Bowling Green, Berea and Kuttawa. Gary graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and from Vanderbilt University with a Master of Divinity degree. Gary most recently attended St. James United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Hargrove Rowan; one son, Sean Rowan (Kristin) of Indiana; two daughters, Carrie Kelley (Kris) of Schochoh and Kelly Valpreda (Michael) of Richmond; two sisters, Nancy Young (Dudley) of Louisville and Joyce DiBlasi (Eric) of Seymour, Ind.; and one brother, John Rowan (Donna) of Louisville; five precious grandchildren, Caroline, Kolton and Cooper Kelley, Chuck and Rachel Rowan; and two sisters-in-law, Patricia Johnson of Hopkinsville and Susan Rowan of Franklin, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Monday at St. James United Methodist Church. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and begins at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of J.C. Kirby & Son, Lovers Lane chapel.

Maudie Pearson age 69, passed away peacefully at her home June 3, 2015. Maudie was the daughter of the late Luther and Ethel Atkins Pearson.
She was retired from Gibson Greeting Card in Berea.
Maudie is survived by her children: Edward Alexander and Lesley VanWinkle both of Berea, her siblings; Bernice Abrams, Lydia Holcomb, Lucille VanWinkle, Paul Pearson, Ivard Pearson, and G.P. Pearson, and her granddaughter Allie Shaye Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Wayne Pearson, Hobert Pearson, and Dorothy England.
Memorial services will be Monday June 15, 2015 at 7 pm; the family will receive friends from 6 – 7 pm Monday at Lakes Funeral Home Berea.

Greg James Denny, 53, of Richmond, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Ann Victoria Phillips
Ann Victoria Phillips, 52, of Richmond, passed away June 5, 2015. She was born July 11, 1962, in Hawaii, to Valerie Phillips Living and the late Jack Phillips. She has no sibling or children.
She was raised on her family farm in Burnwell, near Williamson, Ky., and attended Belfrey High school. Upon graduating from high school, she attended nearby Pikeville College (later university) where she majored in science.
While there, she became the college’s 1983 Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival queen. The first ever in the pageants 52 years. Upon graduating from Pikeville College, she attended Eastern Kentucky University where she received her advanced degree in science and later teachers certification.
She taught in the Madison Central High School science department for about seventeen years. She sponsored the Young Republicans club and coached golf.
Maydru Hart Wilder
Maydru Hart Wilder, 92, the widow of Joe “Red” Wilder, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2015, at the Richmond Health & Rehab Complex-Kenwood. She was born July 18, 1922, in Metamora, Ill., to the late Charlie and Ida Hammond Hart.
She was a retired secretary with Westinghouse in Cincinnati, Ohio, and also worked for Philips Lighting here in Richmond until it closed. She was of the Baptist faith.
Maydru is survived by her niece, Elaine Phillips; a brother, Bobby (Louise) Hart; nephews, Greg (Edie) Hart, Ken Hart; great niece, Melissa Hart; great nephews, Joel Hart and Christopher Hart; great-great niece, Audrina Hart; several cousins including special cousins, Ann B. Wilson, Harold (Judy) Bowman; and a host of friends, including very special friends, Loyce and Glenn Harris.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Berea Cemetery.

Douglas A. Forsyth, 36, of Riverside, Ill., at rest Thursday, June 4, 2015.
He was the cherished father of Kaiden Joseph Forsyth; fond fiancée of Ursula
Kowalski; loving son of Diane nee Divin and the late Donald; dearest brother of Jason, Bryan and the late Gregory; dear nephew of Lloyd Forsyth.
Doug was a graduate of Riverside Brookfield High School and he received a B.A. degree in marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He was a member of the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters. He enjoyed model building, martial arts, body building and was a WWII history aficionado.
Graveside services for Doug will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015, at the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 – 5 p.m. Wednesday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.

Carolyn Dalton age 81, widow of Eddie Dalton, died Friday June 12, 2015 at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center. Carolyn was born in Richmond to the late Clarence and Hazel Keene Wells, she was a homemaker and member of the Pentecostal faith.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Dalton, and her son Billy Dalton.
Carolyn is survived by her children: Steve Dalton and Gary Dalton, her brother Morris Wells her 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and two very special friends Miguel Ramos and Sonia Martinez.
Graveside services will be Monday June 15, 2015 at 11 am at the Manse Cemetery, Paint Lick. Bro. Ricky Horn will officiate.

Annie “Annabelle” Cain Day age 82 of Berea, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the U.K. Hospital in Lexington. Annie was born in Jackson County to the late Richard and Nannie Pearson Cain.
She was a homemaker and charter member of Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Day and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children Teresa (Jimmy) Merritt and Becky Spires, one brother Miley T. (Barbara) Cain, six grandchildren Thalia (Mark) Broadus, Kevin (Samantha) Thacker, Hannah McFarland, Samantha (Kenny) Gadd, Bobbi Spires and Willie Day, and 5 great grandchildren Katilyn Broadus, Kelsey Thacker, Carrie Thacker, Mary Thacker and Arayah Gadd. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.
Funeral services will be 1pm Monday at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea. Burial will follow in the Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-9 pm at the funeral home.
Donald Kenneth Pitts
Donald Kenneth Pitts age 71, died Monday June 8, 2015 at the V.A. Hospital in Lexington. Donald was born on June 4, 1944 in Berea, Kentucky to Joe Jr. and Gladys Bryant Pitts.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired employee of Okonite cable.
He is survived by his parents Joe and Gladys, sister Sherry Joe Fowler and brother Wendell Pitts and children Greg Pitts his wife Anne Marie and grandchildren Amber, Michelle, Rachel, Michael, Annemarie and Mary-Therese and his daughter Kristi Pitts and grandchildren Ashetin and Drew Hakola.
Funeral services will be 12 pm noon Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday prior to the funeral service from 10 am to 12 pm.

Donnie Ray Swope
Donnie Ray Swope, age 75, died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington. Born in Berea, he was the son of the late Herman and Florence Duncan Swope.
He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Gideons International. After retirement as a repairman for GTE, he was a farmer. Mr. Swope served his country as a member of the Marine Corp.
Mr. Swope is survived by his wife: Jean Deaton Swope of Berea; a daughter: Libby (Dave) Miles of Bardstown; a son: Warren (Susan) Swope of Berea. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Leigh, Paige, Morgan, Lauren, Nicholas, and Natalie.
Funeral services for Mr. Swope will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Chrisman officiating. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Berea Cemetery with Military Honors.

Milford Paul Tallent
Milford Paul Tallent, 84, of Richmond, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015, at Baptist Health – Lexington. He was born August 19, 1930, in Jackson, Missouri, to Robert Henry Tallent and Tora Avis Seabaugh-Tallent, both of whom preceded him in death.
Paul was a retired hotel manager and an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include one son, Anthony Tallent; one daughter, Susan Ada Brock; one brother, Francis Tallent of Illinois; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Sam Harris Jr.
Sam Harris Jr. 53, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was born April 7, 1962, in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Sam Harris, Sr. and the late Francis Jeanette Diamond Harris Smith.
Sam was a supervisor at Blue Grass Plating and a member of Victory World Outreach Center of Richmond. He was a Cold War veteran serving in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Effie Carol Moatts Harris of Richmond; two step-sons, Steven and Jeremiah Barnes; step-daughter, Latosha Moatts; and four sisters, Andrea Willhite and Patricia Hughes, both of Lexington; Francis Martina Rothwell of Richmond and Felecia Kay Smith of Lexington; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Velma Sarah Abrams Gabbard, 92, of Richmond, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Concord, North Carolina. She was born July 1, 1922, in Jackson County, to the late Leonard and Flotie Amyx Abrams and was the widow of Jesse Gabbard.
She was a retired employee of the former Pattie A. Clay Hospital, where she worked for 25 years, and she was a member of the Lancaster Road Church of God in Richmond.
Survivors include one son, Eunas (Jeanette) Gabbard of Richmond; two daughters, Charlotte (Mitch) Simpson of Concord, NC and Sharon (Joe) Wright of Nashville, TN; one sister, Alpha Lawson of Richmond; one sister-in-law, Hazel Toller; five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Gabbard was preceded in death by three brothers, Vertis, Vaughn, and Emery Abrams.

Mattie Bell Barnett
Ms. Mattie Bell Barnett, 72, of Irvine, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Baptist Health – Richmond. Ms. Barnett, the daughter of the late Curt and Sarah Allen Barnett, was born in Rockcastle County on August 21, 1942. She enjoyed cross stitching and sewing.
She is survived by her son: Jeffrey Estes of Gainesville, GA; two daughters: Teresa (& Darrell) Culton of Irvine and Elizabeth Estes of Richmond; her brother: Charles Barnett; eight grandchildren: Billywade Brewer, Thomas (& Jami) Culton, Amanda Culton, Ashley (& William) Ratliff, Justin (& Shelby) Culton, Courtney Culton, Katelyn Culton and Jessica Thomas; 12 great grandchildren and her companion of many years, Tim Jenkins.
Ms. Barnett was also preceded in death by her other brothers and sisters.

Gloria Faye White, 73, of Waco, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. She was born in Wolfe Co., Ky. on February 15, 1942 to the late Frank and Josephine Moore King.
Mrs. White is survived by: her husband of 55 years, Norman “Whitie” White; two sons, Doug White (Jane) of Winchester, and Keith White (Michelle), of Waco; one daughter, Connie Perkins (Terry), of Richmond; one brother, Ralph King (Carleen) of Estill Co.; one sister, Freida Deaton (Ray) of Wolfe Co.; ten grandchildren, Lindsey White, Kelsey White, Kaitlen McDaniel, Mercedez Stager, Lexii White, Noah-J White, Chastity Damrell, Terry Perkins, Jr., Brandon Perkins and Jessica Sullivan; 16 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her daughter, Tami White; one sister, and one brother.

Lawrence Stepp, 73 of Richmond, the husband of Sharron Click Stepp, went to meet the Lord on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Mr. Stepp was born on April 8, 1942 in Estill County, to the late Robert and Jessie Stepp.
He had worked for the Allen Construction Company, and retired after thirty-five years of service. He loved race cars and classic old cars. He was a member of the Concord Christian Fellowship Church.
Survivors in addition to his wife Sharron include; two daughters: Dedra Smith (Charles) and Charm Todd (Tommy); one brother: Earnest Stepp (Jeanette) of Hamilton, Ohio; two sisters: Floretta Robertson of Hamilton, Ohio and Geraldine Scrivner (Jimmy) of Irvine; four grandchildren: Seth, Amanda and Michele Smith and Luke Todd; one great grandchild: Gabriel Dombroski all of Richmond as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by three brothers: Steve, Billy Ray and Boyd Stepp.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Saturday evening, June 13, 2015 at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home in Irvine, with Pastor Kenneth Bishop and Bro. Atwood Winkle officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:30 PM Saturday afternoon at the Toler Funeral Home.

James Melvin Wesley
James Melvin Wesley, 80, widower of Ima Jean Davis Wesley, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in Danville. Mr. Wesley was born on August 6, 1934 in Casey County to the late Preston and Vasca Patter Wesley.
He was a lifelong farmer, and former owner of the L&W BP Food Mart in Lancaster. He formally served as a board member on the Garrard County Health Board, and was a member of the Lancaster United Methodist Church. Mr. Wesley was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by: his daughter, Regina Gibson; three grandchildren, Dustin Foley and Tiffany Lewis and Emmy Reinle; three great-grandchildren, Arianna Lewis, Kasie Daugherty and John McCoy; and one sister, Charlene James.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, June Rodgers; and three brothers, Paul, Kirby and Carlos Wesley.
Funeral Services will be conducted 12:00 PM Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in the Manse Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.

Glyndon Alexander, 77, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015. He was born in Jackson Co. on February 23, 1938 to the late Elmer and Celia Alexander.
He was a former employee of Berea College and a lifelong farmer. Mr. Alexander was a member of the 1016 Holiness Church.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 58 years, Mandy Alexander; two daughters, Valerie Alexander and Alesha Pennington (Tim); one grandson, Zach Pennington (Heather); two great-granddaughters, Allison & Madison Pennington; one brother, Earl Alexander (Betty); two sisters, Ella Mae Alexander and Bonnie Alexander (Kenneth Stanifer); as well as a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: two sons, Daniel & Bruce Alexander; four brothers, Charlie, Willard, Winford & James Alexander; and one sister, Nina Alexander.

Charles Vernon Northern
Mr. Charles Vernon Northern, age 75 of Mt. Vernon, KY died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at his residence. He was born May 26, 1940 in Jackson Co., KY the son of Delbert and Elva Saylor Northern.
He was a farmer, enjoyed welding, building and singing and was a member of Blue Lick Baptist Church.
Mr. Northern is survived by his wife: Betty Northern of Mt. Vernon; three sons: Charles Edward and Donna Northern of Mt. Vernon, Randy Lee and Joan Northern of Berea and Johnny Ray and Jennifer Northern of Mt. Vernon; two brothers: Paul and Neva Northern and Raymond Northern both of Mt. Vernon and two sisters: Reacie Isaacs of Brodhead and Irlene and Willard Neeley of Mt. Vernon. Also surviving are five granddaughters: Jessica Northern, Lisa Northern, Amanda Northern, Angela Northern and Katie Cox; four grandsons: Matthew Northern, Marc Lamb, Matthew Taylor and Carl Bentley and one great grandchild: Jaziley Lamb.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Northern was preceded in death by one brother: Jack Gilbert Northern.

Mrs. Janie Hines age 98, of Mt.Vernon passed away Saturday June 6, 2015 at North Point Health Care in Lexington. She was born on May 22, 1917 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Abraham and Melvina Bradley McLemore.
She grew up on a farm, and attended Mt.Vernon Elementary & Mt.Vernon High School. In 1972 she started selling Avon, and continued in the Business for 30 years. She spent her life as a homemaker and raising children, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors are: four sons; Charles Wayne (Betty) Hines of Lebanon, OH, Marvin Hines (Marry) of Wilmington, OH, Roy Hines (Claudette) of Richmond, Ky., and Jerry Hines (Linda) of Crittenden, Ky. Two daughters; Joyce Bullock (Bentley) of Cincinnati, OH, and Judy Bullock Stevens of Lexington Ky.. Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren also survive.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband Charlie Monroe Hines of whom she married in 1935 and was married to for almost 58 years until he passed away in February of 1993. She was also preceded in death by: two brothers; Lewis, and Chester McLemore, by one sister; Grace Price, and by one granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday June 9, 2015 at Cox Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 2 PM Wednesday June 10, 2015 at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery.
Hazel Starnes Anderson
Hazel Starnes Anderson, 91, of Lane Road in Paint Lick, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in Richmond. Born March 3, 1924 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert & Mary Hurt Starnes.
Hazel had been an employee of the Richmond Walmart for 27 years before retiring, and was a member of White Lick Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Anderson, four brothers, Boyd, William, M.G. & Cecil Starnes and three grandchildren.
Her survivors include a daughter, Carol (the late Regis) Whalen of Richmond, two sons, Paul (Maurine) Anderson & Kenneth (Terri) Anderson, both of Paint Lick, a sister, Barbara Jean (Wayne) Rhodus, of Midway, Ohio, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday June 13, 2015 at Ramsey—Young Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Paint Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Ricky Earl Wilson
Ricky Earl Wilson, age 57, of Drowning Creek Road in Irvine passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, at his home following a sudden illness. He was born November 27, 1957 in Madison County and was the son of Louise Stone Wilson and the late Chester Ray Wilson.
He was a retired employee of Uncle Charlie Meats and played music with the Country Ramblers. He was a member of the Providence Baptist Church and had lived in Estill County all of his life.
Survivors in addition to his mother include: His wife: Debra Eden Wilson 2 Step-sons: William Mason & Benjamin Mason 1 Sister: Judy Chrisman & husband, James Estill Co. 1 Brother: Jim Wilson & wife, Betty Estill Co.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 14, 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Bill VanWinkle and Bro. A.B. Patrick. Burial will be at the Turpin Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.
Virgil Sizemore was born August 15, 1937 in Leslie County, Kentucky and passed away Friday June 12, 2015 at the Hospice Care Center in Richmond, Ky. being 77 years of age. He was the son of the late Burley and Rose Napier Sizemore. Virgil was of the Baptist Faith.
Virgil is survived by his wife Shirley of Annville, Ky. and three children, David Sizemore (Debbie) of Crab Orchard, Ky., Lesha McQueen (Steve)and Nita Hacker both of Annville, Ky. He is also survived by five brothers and sisters, Cami Sizemore, London, Ky., Wiley Sizemore of Bellville, Mich., Grant Sizemore of Ypsilanti, Mich., Amelia Young, Tyner, Ky. and Janet Slusher of Leslie County, Ky., also five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Other than his parents Virgil was preceded in death by two sisters, Gail Asher and Virginia Collett.
Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. Sunday June 14, 2015 at Lakes Funeral Home McKee followed by a graveside services at 4:00 P.M. at McQueen Cemetery in Annville with Bro. Bobby Ewing officiating.
Edna (Johnson) Hisel was born June 23, 1933 in Jackson County and departed this life Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at her residence, being 81 years of age. She was the daughter of the late John Wesley Johnson and Bessie Hurley Johnson.
Edna is survived by her husband of 64 years Ebb Hisel of Sand Gap. She is also survived by four children, Darrell Hisel and wife Marachita, Bonnie Million and husband Danny, Kimberly Wood and husband Dale all of Sand Gap and Pamela Hayes and husband Roger of Tyner. Edna is also survived by five grandchildren, Stephen Hisel and wife Shannon, Holly Johnson both of Sand Gap, Heather Kirby and husband Matt of McKee, Rachel Cassetta and husband Andrea of Berea and Austin Hayes of Tyner and by two great granddaughters, Olivia Cassetta and Abigail Hisel and expecting a third in July, a great grandson, Rhett Kirby.
In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters and two half sisters. Edna was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Adam Hisel and Dylan Hayes.
Edna was of the Baptist Faith.
Funeral services were held 1:00PM Friday, June 12, 2015 at Lakes Funeral Home McKee with Bro. Shane Gabbard officiating. Burial followed in the Isaacs-Reed Cemetery in Chestnut Flat. Visitation was 6:00 P.M. Thursday June 11, 2015 at the Funeal Home.
Pallbearers were James & Tyler Wood, Austin Hayes, Matt Kirby, Steven Hisel & Andrea Cassetta.
Randell Alcorn age 66 of Queensway Drive in Lawrenceburg passed away Monday , June 8, 2015 at his home. Randell was born in Berea, Kentucky to the late George and Mary Elizabeth Alcorn.
He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is retired from the U.S. government as an Army civilian security specialist. He was a former member and deacon of Emmanuel Baptis Church in Berea and current member of Alton Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers Lloyd Alcorn and Jimmy Alcorn and his mother and farther-in-law, Harold and Martha Todd.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Todd Alcorn, two daughters Heather LeAnn Alcorn and Amber Denise Alcorn, one brother Jack (Linda) Alcorn, one sister Linda(Danny) Banks and one grandaughter Rhandigrace Alcorn.
Visitation will be Thursday June 11, 2015 at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will take place at 3:30 P.M. Friday , June 12, 2015 at Lakes Funeral Home Mckee. Interment will follow at the Hellard Cemetery in Sand Gap.
