Mike’s Kids Education Foundation was created in honor of Billy Michael Caudill, who served as superintendent of Madison County Schools from July 2001 to December 2007. Mike believed in Madison County Schools. And he believed in the ability of every student to succeed if they were given the right tools.

With your help and support, MKEF annually provides scholarships to one Madison Central graduate and one Madison Southern graduate. In the past 7 years, MKEF has awarded more than $10,000 in scholarships to deserving Madison County students. Your help and support have also helped MKEF annually provide literacy grants for teachers across the district. MKEF has awarded more than $55,000 in literacy grants.
