The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea gives visitors a glimpse into the world of Bourbon in a lobby exhibit titled, “Kentucky Bourbon: Distillation and Inspiration.” This display shares via text panels and photographs, the history of bourbon in the state as well as the distillation processes, terms and production. Maps with locations of Kentucky distilleries and information on the state’s Kentucky Bourbon Trail tours are also included in this informative exhibit.

Kentucky Bourbon has also inspired artists and food producers to create a variety of bourbon-themed gifts and products. At the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, visitors can find unique bourbon products, books and cook books – many of which are showcased in this lobby exhibit. From specialty sauces to seasonings and candies – Kentucky bourbon adds a unique flavor and exciting taste to foods and recipes. This display also showcases a selection of furniture made by Kentucky artists Jason Cohen and Karine and Matthew Maynard, who have used recycled bourbon barrels to create unique chairs, stools and tables.
