Lavina L. Kelley-Hoskins age 42 of Berea, was carried by angels to heaven from her battle with cancer on Aug. 4, 2013 at Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY. Lavina was born Oct 26, 1970 and a member of the Berea Church of God.
Lavina is survived by her husband Ken Hoskins, her parents Roger and Anita Lynn Kelley of Berea, Father and Mother-in-law Arliss and Betty Hoskins of Pineville, KY, her daughter Abbygail Broughton of Berea, brother Roger Keith Kelley II of Mt Vernon KY, sister Elizabeth (Phillip) Nowlin of Richmond KY, sister-in-laws Kathy (Gerald) Holt, Melissa (Johnny) Caldwell of Pineville KY, step children: Lindsay Hoskins, and Joshua Hoskins, step grandsons Noah Williamson, and Jacob Ison of Richmond, and niece Tristyn Nowlin of Richmond, nephews Matthew and Alex Caldwell, Kevin Layne, and Brian Carter all of Pineville KY, she is also survived by her grandparents Lloyd and Johnnie Anglin of Berea, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Houston and Ann Kelley of Berea.
Funeral services will be Wednesday Aug. 7, 2013 at 2 pm at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Davis and Rev. Stephen Hobbs officiating, with a eulogy by Jennifer Lieneman and Bobby Abner, burial at Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday Aug 6, 2013 at Lakes Funeral Home from 6-9 pm.
Pallbearers will be Robert Parks, Joel Parks, Neil Kelley, Jeremy Thompson, Zachery Thompson, and Michael Flannery. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Neel, Tony Broughton, Chris Turner and Ricky Conn.
