Clinton Robert Weitkamp
RICHMOND — Clinton Robert Weitkamp, 20, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, July 5, 2013. Clinton was born October 16, 1992, in Richmond, Kentucky, and was the son of Darrell Lynn and Laura Oldham Allen Weitkamp. He was a member of First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clinton Turner Allen and Ann Wood Oldham Allen, as well as a great-aunt, Laura Blanton Oldham Floyd.
In addition to his parents, survivors include: sister Chase Allen Weitkamp; paternal grandmother Virginia W. Jenkins (step-grandfather Dr. Douglas H. Jenkins); paternal grandfather Kenneth C. Weitkamp (step-grandmother, Mary Tate Weitkamp); uncles Clinton Stone Allen (Vickie) and Donnie R. Weitkamp (La-Donna); aunt Lea Ann Allen; cousins Grace Kayelynn Weitkamp (Paula Kaye Elliston), and Thomas L. Floyd and his children, Ryan Floyd (Ashley) and Jarrod Floyd.
Funeral services for Clinton Robert Weitkamp will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Dr. Glenn Birkett officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tucker Anderson, Will Travis, Matt “Witzie” Jozefowicz, Taylor Billings, Nick Castle and Brady Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Alexis Reisig, Mackenzie Barger, Hannah Curry, and Rebecca McPherson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.

Barbara Faye Winkle
Barbara Faye Winkle (Gadd) age 68, wife of the late Robert Morgan Winkle, passed away at her daughter’s home on July 2, 2013 in Whitesburg, TN. Barbara was born in Rockcastle County to the late Hobert and Amy Powell Gadd. She was retired from Kroger Corp.
She is survived by her two children Robert Mark Winkle and Mary (Timothy) Bowlin, four grandchildren Mark Branden Lee Winkle, Breauana Winkle, Brooklyn Winkle and Dana April Bowlin.
Funeral services will be 3 pm Friday July 5, 2013 at Lakes Funeral Home with Pastor Dewayne Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaacs Cemetery in Rockcastle County. Visitation will begin Friday at 2 pm until time of service.

Charles ‛Chuck’ Todd, 48, of Radcliff, Ky., departed this life July 1, 2013.
Survivors include: his mother, Rose McKnight; his partner of 22 years, Roxann Milby; sister Pamela Gray; stepbrother Daniel McKnight; stepsister Becky McKnight, uncle Buzz Ramsey; nieces Elizabeth McIntosh Denny (Jonathan) and Kimberly Todd; and great-nephew Landon Denny.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jimmy McKnight.

Nannie Pearl White Sapp
Nannie Pearl White Sapp, age 82, Richmond, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Born in Sardis, June 21, 1931 to the late Garnett and Lenora Shafer White, she was a loving mother and homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Sapp and a son, Jackie Sapp.
She is survived by four sons, Ernie Sapp, Billy Sapp and Timmy Sapp, all of Ohio and Tom Sapp, of Mt. Sterling, KY; five daughters, Francis Short, Carol Austin, Bonnie Evans and Cindy Williams, all of Ohio and Lynn McWhorter, of Berea, KY; a sister, Ida Mitchell, of Nicholas County, KY; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Sunday, July 7 at Robertson County Funeral Home by Pastor Virgil Grant with visitation at 1:00 PM and funeral services at 3:00 PM. Burial will be in Shannon Cemetery.
Arber Coyt Owens
Arber Coyt Owens of Richmond, Kentucky, formerly of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was 87 years, 4 months, and 25 days of age. He was born on February 8, 1926 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late Dant Owens and Judy Smith Owens. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evodine Mayne Owens and a grandson, Bradley Coyt Owens. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his two sons, Billy Owens and his wife Deborah of Lakewood, Colorado and Wayne Edward Owens of Richmond, Kentucky; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Monhollen of Franklin, Ohio, and Ida Wall and Rosa Owens, both of Berea, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 12:30 P.M. until the funeral hour on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Billy Owens officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Mayne Cemetery on Poplar Creek, in Williamsburg.
John C. Hacker
John C. Hacker, 85, the husband of Helen Agee Hacker, passed away Friday morning, July 6, 2013 at Baptist Health-Richmond. Mr. Hacker was born on January 28, 1928 in Clay County, Kentucky, the son of the late Leonard and Mae Allen Hacker.
He was a retired service station owner and operator and was the owner of Hacker Bottle Gas Company. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, a member of the VFW and a member of the Waco Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter: Paula Hacker Harvey, (Bob); three sons: John C. Hacker II, Paul Glenn Hacker (Ann) and Jerry Wayne Hacker; three sisters: Betty Jo Parks, Annabelle Grant and Juanita Hiline; two grandsons: Justin Harvey and Brandon Clint Hacker; a step-granddaughter: Crystal Kelley; two great-grandchildren: Destiny Kelley and Brandon Jacob Hacker and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Roscoe Flinchem, 74, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, in the Hospice Compassionate Care Center of Richmond. He was born February 19, 1939, in Irvine, Kentucky, to the late Lewis George and Laura Abbney Flinchem. He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Gertrude Flinchem.
He was a retired supervisor for Cor-Pipe of Des Plaines, Illinois, and had served in the National Guard. Roscoe was of the Baptist faith and was a huge fan of the old westerns, especially of John Wayne.
Survivors include: his loving wife, Marlene Miller Flinchem of Richmond; his children, Tom Flinchem of Illinois, Cheryle Richter of Wisconsin, Robert Flinchem (Deanna) of Illinois, Laura Ashe of Kentucky, Tami Mercadante (Vince) of Illinois and Michael Milillo of Kentucky.
He also leaves one brother, Roy Flinchem (Debbie) of Hodgenville, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The service for Roscoe will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Fr. Jim Sichko officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow on Tuesday at Madison County Memorial Gardens.

E. Perry Bogie
E. Perry Bogie, 91, of Newby, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Baptist Health hospital in Richmond. He was born in Madison County on February 12, 1922, to the late Allen and Bettie Hardin Bogie. He was a member of the Big Hill Christian Church, but had been a deacon and member of the former Newby Christian Church for over 40 years.
He was a retired farmer and a former director of the Madison County Farm Bureau. As a farmer, he was involved in many farm-related activities. He and his wife Jeane attended many of the farmer- homemaker field days. He was one of the first farmers in Madison County to adopt no-till planting.
Survivors include: his wife of 61 years, Jeane O’Donnell Bogie; his children, Nancy Bogie Kenner (Mark), George Bogie (Kim), Betty Bogie Parke (Keith) and Dwayne Bogie (Brenda); four grandchildren, Travis Bogie (Emily), Brittany and Ashley Bogie and Lee Parke; one brother-in-law, Bronson Netterville; one sister-in-law, Barbara Bogie and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by: two brothers, William and Clarence Bogie; four sisters, Mary Netterville, Catherine Moore, Ruth Morris and Dorothy Bogie; and a special nephew, Freeman Moore.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at the Big Hill Christian Church, 1150 Goggins Lane, Richmond, with Bro. Jim Riggs and Bro. Mark Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church.
Pallbearers will be: Donnie Morris, Daryl Morris, Garnett Bogie, Don Bogie, Andrew Bogie, Jerry Bogie and Roman Allen.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Mildred Gray, Irene Alexander, Debbie Sparks, Jerry Rose, David Prewitt, Jerry Agee, Don Long, Wayne Winkler and Glen Curtis.

Hazel Coyle Rose, 88, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Richmond Health and Rehab Complex – Madison. She was born in Madison Co. on November 27, 1924 to the late Wilce and Amanda Logsdon Coyle. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Christian Church.
Survivors include: one daughter: Janet L. Wells (Robert A.); one brother: Esmer Coyle; three sisters: Ima Jean Richardson (Roy), Della Mae Rose, and Verna Hurt; four grandchildren, Michelle Schuler (Larry), Amanda Stuteville, Chris Wells (Sharon), and Timothy Wells (Stacy); six step-grandchildren: Ronnie Rose, Patricia Penson, Doug Rose, Mark Rose, Kim Marsh, and Karen Rose; five great-grandchildren: Ryan Wells, Corey Wells, Sarah Schuler, Matt Stuteville, and Noah Stuteville; several step great grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband: Leonard Rose; one son: Charles Rose; one step son: Delbert Rose; four brothers: Dewey, Ralph, Albert, and Hamp Coyle; and three sisters: Lorene Rose, Ann Douglas, and Emily Jane Cates.

Kenneth Dean Foster, 70, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013. He was born in Madison County, Ky., June 25, 1943, the son of Burgin and Ada Renfro Foster.
Kenneth had served with the Richmond Police Dept. and the Lexington Police Dept., as well as with the Richmond Fire Dept. He attended Church on the Rock.
Survivors include: his wife, Bonnie Jean Northern Foster; two sons, Kenneth Foster, Jr. and Kevin Foster; a stepdaughter, Shelby Walker (Randall); one sister, Brenda Foster; two grandchildren, Zebulan Simmons and Katherine Foster; three step-grandchildren, Tasha Thomas (Derek), Brooke Farthing and Paige Farthing; three great-grandchildren, Lexie, Kenzie and Paisley.
He was preceded in death by brothers & sisters, O’Dell Foster, Merill Foster, Lorena Foster and Lillian Foster Stocker.

Hallie Walters Banks, age 70, a resident of the Irvine Health & Rehabilitation Center passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Baptist Health-Lexington following a short illness. She was born September 3, 1942 in Estill County and was a daughter of the late James and Mattie Kirby Walters. She was a homemaker and had lived in Estill County all of her life. She attended Crystal Holiness Church.

Bettie Hazel Butler
Bettie Hazel Butler was born September 7, 1942 in Jackson County and departed this life Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Compassionate Care Center, being 71 years of age. She was the daughter of Eva (Adkins) Sparks of Harrodsburg and of the late Clifton Sparks.
Bettie was the loving wife of Donald Ray Butler of Richmond and the loving mother of 5 daughters, Hazel Jean Wafford of Lexington, Sandy Kay Savage of Nicholasville, Ruth Ann Butler of Richmond, Patricia Hisle of Lexington and Charlotte Hisle of Winchester. She was also the loving sister of the following siblings, Darrell, John & Jimmy Sparks all of Harrodsburg, Charlie & Ricky Sparks, Margaret Greenlee, Peggy Martin & Linda Hisle all of Lexington. Bettie was blessed with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bettie was a member of the Glory Land Baptist Church.
Funeral service was held 1:00 PM Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Lakes Funeral Home McKee with Bro. Cecil Burns officiating. Burial followed in the Adkinstown Cemetery.
Lucinda Forbes Bryant
Lucinda Forbes Bryant, age 95, died Friday, July 5, 2013 at Madison Health and Rehabilitation in Richmond. A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Mary Jane Shelton Forbes. She was a housewife and of the Holiness faith.
Mrs. Bryant is survived by: her daughters: Grace (Ernest) Young of Hamilton, Ohio, Mildred Dearwester of Florida; her sons: William Stewart of Paint Lick, Carlton (Donna) Lambert of Lakeland, Florida. 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her children: Clifford MeGuire and Nannie Jane Tavenner; her siblings, Martha Damrell, Asa, Charlie, Joe, Ledford, Sudie, Cloyd, Raleigh, Frank, and Robert Forbes.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bryant will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Shelton Cemetery in Jackson County.
Eva M. Younger
Eva M. Younger, age 92, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at her home in Gabbardtown. She was born in Rockcastle County to the late John and Ann Baker Himes. She was a member of the Liberty Avenue Baptist Church and had worked at the Berea College Laundry and Harts Laundry in Lexington. She liked to sew and take care of her grandchildren.
Mrs. Younger is survived by: her daughter, Lucy (Roy) Ingram of Berea; her grandchildren: Rickie (Brenda) Ingram, Jeffrey (Jan) Ingram; her granddaughter-in-law, Wanda (Clifford) Ingram; her great-granddaughters, Angie (Adam) Abney, Casie Winkler, Brandy (Bryan) Land, Jenny Ingram; great-grandsons, Brooks Ingram, Jason (Tiffany) Ingram, Travis (Veronica) Ingram, Tyler (Jenna) Ingram; great-great granddaughters: Avery Bella Ingram, Emmalyn Grace Ingram, Olivia Grace Ingram; great-great grandsons, Tristian Ingram, Lukas Ingram, Michael Winkler, Jeffery Adien Ingram. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Marvin Younger; son, William Fred Montgomery; daughter, Mary Frances Montgomery; brothers, Luther and Leonard Himes; sisters, Pearl Hayes, Nannie Rose, Etta Bell Marcum, Janie Himes; grandson, Clifford Ingram.
