Theft Arrest: On 10/14/2011, police charged Gary Gray, Jr., age 27, Mt. Rushmore Drive, for theft in connection with the misappropriation of money from Adventure Falls in the Lake Reba Recreational Complex.
In late August 2011, police initiated an investigation after an audit of Adventure Falls indicated that money was missing from the deposits made to the bank on behalf of the facility. Subsequent investigation determined that approximately $12,694.00 had been pilfered from the deposits between 04/12/2011 and 07/24/2011. Gray was identified as a suspect in the theft.
On 10/14/2011, following an interview at the police department, Detective Keith Daniel charged Gray for Theft by Unlawful Taking over $10,000.00 and lodged him in the MCDC.
Theft Charges: On 10/13/2011, Harold W. Hoskins, age 31, Betsy Drive, was arrested in connection with a theft offense that occurred in November 2010.
On 06/06/2011, a resident of Fairlane Drive reported to RPD that in November 2010 she paid Hoskins $1500.00 to cut down and remove a tree from her property. Hoskins started the job but left after receiving payment and never returned to complete the job. Subsequent investigation determined that Hoskins had no intention of completing the job.
On 06/22/2011, the investigating officer obtained a warrant for Hoskins’ arrest, charging him for Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Property, a felony. On 10/13/2011, Hoskins was taken into custody at his residence on Betsy Drive by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and lodged in the MCDC.
Assault Arrest: On 10/16/2011, police arrested Michael A. Collins, age 29, Lexington, in connection with an assault that occurred in January 2010.
On 01/20/2010, a complainant came to the RPD station to report that he had been assaulted at a party in the 700 block of Hycliffe Drive during the early morning hours of 01/17/2010. As a result of the assault, the complainant suffered a broken nose, a sinus cavity fracture, and a fractured skull. He was treated at the UK Medical Center for his injuries and reported the assault to police upon his release.Collins was subsequently identified as the suspect in the assault and a warrant for his arrest was issued on 03/01/2010, charging him with Assault 2nd Degree.On 10/16/2011, Collins was located on I-75 near the 88 mile marker and taken into custody without incident. He was lodged in the MCDC.
Burglary Arrest: On 10/14/2011, police arrested Billy W. Robinson, age 21, Boone Trail Road, in connection with a burglary that occurred in June 2011.
On 06/05/2011, a resident of an apartment in the 100 block of S. Killarney Lane reported that his residence had been unlawfully entered during the late afternoon to early evening hours and two items were stolen. It was suspected that entry was gained through a bedroom window. The following items were reported stolen: an Xbox 360 gaming system and a Kel-Tec 9mm pistol, model P11. Estimated loss: $500.00.The follow-up investigation identified Robinson as a suspect. On 08/18/2011, a warrant was issued for his arrest, charging him for Burglary 1st Degree. On 10/14/2011, Robinson was located in Robinson Terrace and taken into custody without incident. Thanks facebook friends for your help on this case. He was lodged in the MCDC.
RSP Arrest: On 10/14/2011, police arrested Patrick D. Gray, age 22, West Carrollton, Ohio, after he was discovered in possession of a stolen vehicle at the Lake Reba Recreational Complex.
At approximately 9:50 A.M., officers were dispatched to Lake Reba to check for a stolen vehicle in the area. The vehicle was described as a 1996 Oldsmobile Aurora that had been reported as stolen to the Kettering, Ohio, Police Department at approximately 3:12 A.M. Gray was identified as a suspect in the theft.
Officers located the vehicle in the main playground parking lot and shortly thereafter located Gray near the fishing pier. Gray was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the MCDC. He was charged for Receiving Stolen Property Under $10,000. The vehicle was impounded pending return to the rightful owner.
Drug Arrest: On 10/14/2011, police arrested Terry Mallory, age 28, Sizemore Drive, on numerous drug related charges.
At approximately 2:45 P.M., an officer observed Mallory operating a vehicle on Northgate Drive. The officer was aware that Mallory did not have a valid operator’s license and was preparing to stop the vehicle when it pulled into the parking lot of the police station and stopped. During the initial encounter with Mallory, the officer recovered approximately one ounce of marijuana and a pack of rolling papers from his person.
Mallory was arrested and transported to the MCDC where a small amount of suspected cocaine was found on his person.
Mallory was charged for the following offenses:
– No Operator’s License
– Possession of Marijuana
– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
– Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree
– Tampering with Physical Evidence
– Promoting Contraband 1st Degree
Theft from Residence: On 10/16/2011, a resident in the 200 block of Stratford Drive reported that a Gibson Less Paul electric guitar had been stolen from his residence sometime during the past 24 hours. The guitar was yellow in color. There were numerous visitors to the residence during the time period of the theft. Estimated loss: $3000.00
